PPCGeeks - *ROM* *4/21* *S3-ROM r12* *WM6.5(21901.5.0.92)* *HTC Sense 2.5*

Hello,

Finally, a great rom and exactly the look I was looking for.

a few questions:

1) How do I remove the sprint-related programs such as Sprint TV and Sprint Navigation (or any other program that I dont want there, for that matter? I'm with Telus and would hate to see Sprint and Tmobile stuff.
2) How come the windows live doesn't have windows live messanger?
3) Opera launches alot quicker with other roms (I'm assuming its prestarted when you start the OS).. how can I do this with this rom too?

Some bugs:
1) I've set Alarms on, but the home screen still says Alarm Off
2) When you go to Phone Options, CDMA Services and select "Automatic Prepend", the options are "Radio1, Radio2" which is a bug..
3) Under "Software informatio" under the "about phone", usage data is not showing up..
4) Opera thinks my HTC TP2 is a m80 or something like that since when I go to google maps wbesite through google mobile to donwload the latest version, it says i cant download since my m80 is not supported.. When i do it through IE, it lets me download..

There were a few more little ones but these are the ones I found..

does anyone have the ringtone called "trend?" There are a couple variations of it on this ROM, but trend is the best imo. I can't see to find it, could've sworn it was in r5.

Does anyone have smartphone tracker installed on this device that is working? I had it on my TP running Mighty but for some reason its not working with this ROM. Any suggestions.

The answer for the Alarm question. If you change the time on the alarm then the home screen will say Alarm On. For some reason, if you leave the time as the default, then it'll stay at Alarm Off.

And yes, this is the best ROM! Tried many others and nothing compares. Thanks Deck for the awesome work.

I just can't stand all those corny skins these kids put on their roms... Maybe consider doing the CFC compression for the next revision?

Seriously, that video makes me want to switch to Mr. X. That looks fast and smoooooooth. Hopefully R9 comes out before my patience. I've been occupying my spare time with trying out new radios.

Thanks for the tip. I'm currently running the latest Juicy Rom until deck releases r10. If Im having similar issues, then I'll check for that device ID under system/about.

anyone heard from deck and heard what all has changed between r8.5 and r9 besides cfc compression? i'm taking it that he's putting out updates on how r9 is doing on twitter because he's not been here in a few days.
