Just got it working I think... I changed the registry as you said in the first page, but that didnt work... What I ended up doing to fix it was create a new server, making it the default with the following details:

Server Name: VerizonMMS
IP: Blank
Port: 80
Server: http://mms.vtext.com/servlets/mms?X-VZW-MDN=<your phone # here>

*Server is the same as what you specified from page 1, post 3*

Connect Via: My ISP
Message Size Limit: whatever you want
WAP: None

- Soft Reset the phone-

That got me sending and receiving...

It might be a bit buggy, as I had an issue receiving a message I got while in a phone call- it still wouldn't download after the call... I'll let you know once I have a little more time to use it

Deck,

I just tried internet sharing and i get an error:

"The file 'IntShr' cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. If the problem persists, try reinstalling or restoring this file"


Any ideas?

I'm going to reinstall the ROM and see if that fixes it...


- Alright, I reinstalled the ROM and the problem is still there... however, if after I get the error, I manually run the internet sharing program, everything works just fine...

Is there anything else Verizon specific or otherwise you need confirmation or testing on?

i really appreciate the help. i was actually just told about the internet sharing problem. i am looking into it now. I am glad that mms seems to be working for you. looks like us on sprint are getting the short end of the stick on the mms. :( as soon as something else comes up verizon wise, i would def take u up on the offer :P

i had same problem you have to turn on location in the menu/settings under the weather tab
and the location on in the settings tab...hope this helps

Hands down, best 2.5 rom out there. I'm still disabling sense MMS and using stock WinMo MMS for now, but that's workable. Great job on the ROM, can't wait to see R2.
