i just got my phone brand new out the box for sprint so i have basic rom and i see it when im trying to flash from basic rom to silents update. when i get the 3 color screen and the phone turns into a gray screen showing what percent its at i get error and i have to reset my phone back to basic

Tommyr what verison of Sense do you have in your updated Silence ROM and can u send and received MMS and whats the main difference between Sense 2.1 and Sense 2.5?

I found manila sense 2.1 easier to disable HTC messaging than Sense2.5.
I LIKE Arcsoft mms so I used below two cabs to disable HTc messaging on Sense2.5 HDFL.2, to get back arcsoft mms threaded messaging with pics.

BTW- Isnt Arcosft cooked in the ROM (HDFL.2) and if so, i thought that it couldn't be taken out...sorry if that's a noob question...as i am pretty much a noob...lol I was running the HDFL.2 for a day, but couldn't get it to act right, kept having to reset and it would lock up when switching between different tasks. so i went back to 012.1 again. But am gonna give it a go again, but still don't understand how i can use the cab(s) above if the MMS is cooked into the ROM. Thanks

it sounds to me like u havent unlocked your spl, read the beginning of the 2nd post in this thread to learn how to unlock ur phone so u can flash any rom afterwards

itll be coming soon as soon as i think my rom is ready to be called a beta, there are 2 major bugs right now so im keeping it as a private alpha test for now, but i think i know whats wrong. hopefully ill fix it tonight so keep an eye out!

u misread the directions and didnt click the link to download

the software download is free, donations are encouraged, the license is for 1 device to be unlocked as many times, if u want to unlock a 2nd tp2 then u have to donate but not for the first one
