regardless... i dont think ill be flashing anything but siley roms just like tp1 days

im on verizon and having a weird mms issue. after flashing stock and hard resettting i can not change my arcsoft settings. i can send and receive both mms and text although receiving mms is severely delayed. it did this on 001 as well.

I haven't tried your ROM before, but I'm excited; will do so as soon as I get home. Booting at 37%; that's amazing. I have three questions I've asked before; but haven't gotten confirmed answers. If they're not possible that's ok; just thought I'd ask.

1. Is it possible to automatically set the email client by default to "accept and download internet pictures"; rather than the way it's currently set up to prompt you.

2. Is there a way to change the send key (make call button) to go to call history instead of the dialer? I rarely need to dial keys, so it's useless to me. Also, the left soft key also does that already.

3. When in a call, whenever I pull out the stylus it automatically opens up the note/memo programs. Can I turn this off? Seems simple, but I've tried looking in the settings and anywhere else obvious; and still can't get it to turn off.

Again, as I haven't tried your ROM yet, maybe these are all fixed; but just thought I'd ask. Thanks for your great work and will report back later.

Update as promised. Flashed it last night and running it now. Here's what I've found:

2. Apparently there is something called Rhodium Keyboard Control that can manipulate your keys. I have to look into it.

3. Found it: it's under Phone settings, Advanced tab.

So all that remains for me would be #1. Would that be possible?

On a side note; I never got it to boot at 37%. It's always been around 41%; and that was fresh after flash, and hard reset, nothing installed. Thanks for the great work. If you can alter the email client, I think you'll be my winner; and donation to come from me. Thanks.

Are you running Sense? I'm running Titanium, and it boots at 37% for me, and on occasion, a 36%... that is, before I start up my data connection and Beejive, where I'm steady at 41%!

Re: [Dec.15.09] SilenceROM_002 [Built For Speed & Stability]

Hi Silence,

This is not a problem that I'm having with your ROM alone. I had it with RhoPazio and MightyMike's ROM. But I'm posting here as well because my previous posts have not led to any resolution. I flashed your ROM and everything is very stable and memory usage is only at 37% and its blazing fast. Thanks for such an awesome ROM in just the second revision!

But as soon as I use ActiveSync, either through PC or wireless sync (to my Google account) the outgoing calls start failing. Incoming calls work perfectly and so does data and SMS. But when I try to make any outgoing calls, the phone tries to connect for a second or two and then the call ends with three beeps.

I tried the ROM for a whole day without doing ActiveSync and everything was perfect. The moment I did ActiveSync, the problem returned.

I ran your provisioning app after flashing. And I also did a hard reset not once but twice after the first flash.

The problem goes away when I do a hard reset (Soft reset doesn't resolve the problem). Only to return when I try ActiveSync. I just love to use ActiveSync because I have my contacts synced up with my Google Account. Is there any known fix to this problem?

Btw I don't have any other app installed. Its just your ROM with your provisioning app.

EDIT: I don't have this problem with the Stock Sprint ROM. But the stock ROM S..U..C..K..S big time :(
