dibbs, how is your latest work coming? The thread got quiet and I wanted you to know I'm still really excited about it. 23551 was so awesome I am dying to be running whatever you are working on now. Another donation coming your way, buddy. I appreciate all you do!

On another note, anybody try running the GTX white theme on this ROM? I understand it slows everything down and I wouldn't be able to stand that for very long, but it might be fun to see for a couple days. I've actually been running a pretty stock manila b/c the speed is awesome.

the rom is done, its been running real solid the last 2 days. just mulling over whether to do or not do one thing tonight. updates will go up sometime tomorrow. havent tried the gtx yet. and glad the 51 ran good for you, and as always thanks so much for the donation :) always appreciated!

First post updated with new links. Some apps have been removed, but can be installed if you have them on your SD card on first boot, or through the MH Online Updater App. I uploaded some CAB files just now to the FTP. Just download through the app, and it will install into the appropriate directories for my ROM. Lot's of storage memory on this release, and program memory seems better. Doc and eReader tabs have been added. New twitter and facebook slider icons, and new theme and background. If something isn't there that you want that was before, check the MH Online updater cuz it might/probably will be there. Enjoy....

NHB's are going up on the FTP now, Sprint nbh is already on there, Verizon and USCC nbh's are uploading now so you can download the ROM image through the updater to flash from storage card.

Ok, just looked at it. It doesn't like to download the .nbh extension. It tries to open the file instead of download. I will have to put it in a rar or something. Just download the regular link/rar for now. I will fix the nbh download.

x2 just seems to run better to me, and it takes up less ram. ark uses about 1.5MB of RAM and x2 uses around 150KB of RAM which was another reason i made the switch.

this ROM is sick. u outdid yourself this time. i have noticed a bunch of little things that i cant begin 2 remember from black highlights to more ram. and did i notice apps close now when i tap "X"? i guess u got ameba working. and of course, smoking fast. still tweaking but this is just awesome. thank u!

Just upgrade from tp to tp2 and have flashed almost every rom on here and i must say yours is the fastest. i dont know what tweaks you have done but manila is smoking fast. Excellent work, this rom is awesome.

Sorry Dibbson to rain on your parade but I have noticed one thing that is locking up the phone. When clicking on the x when your in the menu or when your closing out the dialer it will sometimes lock up. I would say maybe 1 out of every 5 times. This is a slick ROM and although its a pain in the a$$ when it locks up I wont go to another ROM because I like yours the best. This problem has been around for the past few updates. If you need more details let me know. Thanks for the ROM and keep up the good work.

i ran this rom on 2 different phones for 3 days without a single lockup or softreset needed. what radio are u using? if ur using a radio other than sprint (since ur on sprint), theres ur issue. i also ran the rom with popup notifications on and no lockups. must b something ur doing as ur a repeat offender where almost everyone else isnt having the issu, not saying its urfault, but just seems odd. i also hope u are following appropriate flashing procedure as well.

i also just dialed my voicemail like 20 times ended call and hit X and then just opened and closed the diialer another 20 or so and no lock ups.

What's the best way to change the wallpaper on all the tabs. And does anybody have a plain black one? I've never had to change it before but the checkered wallpaper is making things very difficult to see for me. I keep my backlight at 80%. Everything is washed out. Also which taskbar in the updater brings back the colored taskbar?

I know it's a of couple lazy questions on my part, I'm just real short on time all day. I usually can take the time to figure it out.

i have a theme that will change it back to the standard black. not at home now, but will upload it this afternoon. same for taskbar. all tabs wallpaper are set at a manila file level.

lol Repeat offender, you make it sound like I'm sexual harassing my phone....maybe I should might get a better result out of it but I guess that would be a different thread. Anyways I am using the a Sprint Radio (2.32). As far as flashing I am not doing anything different from when I had the Mogul and the TP1. Its a straight forward process but I guess something my have changed and I didn't get the memo. It didn't start doing this until these last few ROM updates. I am going to try and flash it back a few ROMs ago and see what happens with it.

yeah let me know about the older build. also sometimes I have read in other threads that when your phone starts acting up weirdly like yours you sometimes have to do the clear storage flash dance. clear storage and flash to shipped, clear storage again and flash back to custom rom. Also throwing the phone into bootloader manually is also the better way instead of letting async do it.

Bluetooth Toggle
 

Good morning all, I am posting this in case it has not been listed before. I searched the thread and it came back empty. I use the HD2_Conections_V3 cab found at the location below to toggle my bluetooth. It is made for HD2 but works just fine on my TP2 as well. It toggles bluetooth,wifi,Data-On-Off,soft reset,vibrate and airplane mode. I have not had any issues with it at all. So just passing on the find in case anyone else would like to have it added as a quicklink on your home page, have a wonderfully blessed day:mrgreen::mrgreen:

I uploaded the Black Theme CAB to the ftp under TSK directory. I haven't updated the Online updater TSK section on the app for a new image yet, so use the cab's section of the online updater app and hit parent directory and then go into tsk's if your going to use the online updater app to grab the CAB.

Which one is your old taskbar. I would like to get a little color, but would like to keep the square buttons on the bottom. I'm going to have to clear my phone anyway. RadarPanel did not install correctly on the latest build so I did something wrong with it.

Edit: I installed the clasic black theme. It made all the wallpapers black but changed the backround behind the taskbar and the bottom buttons to the checkered backround! They were clear to start.

I just installed the ROM and really like it so far, what I would like to know is if there is a way to get rid of the clock in the top right? just bugs me a little bit having the time 2 times on the today screen.

It would be nice to have a 57 build with the old theme and touches. But I don't want to sound like one of those complainers - These are always the best, most stable ROMS. I can just go back to the 51 build for the theme and such. It also worked perfect for me, so no big deal.

FYI - I had radarpanel working on the 51 build, flashed 57 and radarpanel would not load. Flashed task29 and then flashed 57 again and radarpanel worked after that. So It did solve a problem for me! But now it's back to 51 so I think I will do the task29 in between again, it's a lot faster than the flash dance.

I have 73mb after fresh boot, but I have extra stuff installed that is prob taking up some of that. Also the documents tab has an indexer that runs in the background. I use that tab and love it, but it would be more if you deactivated that tab.

I was having a problem with your rom and a certain program. I can not use the x-button to minimize Slovoed Dictionary. This is the only rom I have the problem on. I've had this problem on this rom for awhile also.

Anybody else have a problem where you can't press the "X" on a program to minimize or close it?

@1999TL, you can set up X to minimize in the registry for ameba. http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...89&postcount=1 check that post out for registry entries.

@pimpol10, Free program ram should be around 86 to 90 on fresh install/boot with nothing else installed.

@ivwonka, notification cabs = 1 for teh notifications, and one is the round icons for teh notifications.

@wesley, the clock is always there, it's so you can see the time in other menus.

@Comstar, You probably need to adjust the manila tab order manila file (26948339_manila) for it to work since there are 2 extra tabs this time around thats why it's not working for you. And not sure why it turned yours checkered, it didn't do that to mine, cuz i checked before i uploaded that.

@mongoose, there are some cab's floating around for that. (i didn't mean to leave that out actually)

:) Kind of feel the same way but loving it either way. I miss the ability to change the home screen background. I also miss the old task manager even though it hogged some ram.

On a positive note I like the new bottom bars and the reduction in installed programs - i am addicted to the MH UC app and like to choose whats on the rom. GPS is fast and works on first try. Keep up the good work.

I have more stuff and themes i'm gonna put on the Online updater, just takes time. You can use HDWall themes with this if you want as it has the manila patch installed on it already.
