I love the ROM, battery life is amazing.

How can I switch from the built in task manager to Arkswitch? I would like to uninstall the current task manager, and install Arkswitch.

On my device, with my usage, this ROM is by far THE BEST ROM I've ever put on my TP. But I'm having one issuse that I need a fix for, when opening picture attachments through e-mail or when trying to view a picture in Palringo (for example), it will only open the "pictures and videos" file browser and it won't open the actual photo I'm trying to view. I hope there's some kind of fix for this because this is a killer for me. Can anyone replicate what I'm talking about and maybe have some input on a fix? TIA!

i had a wierd thing happen to me yesterday. My battery was running low and all of a sudden the phone restarted. Came up like i had done a hard reset (had to reset the screen, pick time zone, bla bla). However my contacts remained as well as some icons in the start menu that i added. I did however have to reinstall any programs i had previously put on the phone.

edit.. actually now that i think about it i was trying to close something in the task manager. I hit an X and the screen froze and restarted.

+1 for removing that flaky task manager. Is it uninstallable?

I will have to agree with post #839 most issues you may find are a result of bad software combinations or a bad flash. I have found that the best way to upgrade or flash a new rom is to do the "Flash Dance" and install one upgrade at a time, this will give you your best results. I have added alot of transparent tweaks andall function flawless. As for issues posted most, I have absolutely no keyboard problems, my location functions great - even without wifi on, my recent trip to Vegas proved that. Battery life if the best I have seen and moving from convention hall to hotel to casino with various BDA's redistributing the signals and some with none at all, my battery life was great. Picture, video, audio, touch response, twitter, weather, email, messaging and more all function as smooth as a factory rom. I can't think of aspect of this rom, that I rely on or use, that has an issue. Of course, which is the same with any software, driver and component system each setup may have it's own little quirks but to blame the rom totally is an injustice.

IMHO, as I have posted before, great job NFSFAN

I agree totally, but I believe the reason the glitches are posted is because people want to know how to fix them. Nobody is expecting NFS to build the ROM to match everyone's preferences. He built the most stable ROM on this site, but Sense 2.5 isn't meant for the TP so there will inevitably be some problems. Nobody is complaining, just trying to set it up how they like.

I use pocket shield with finger slide to open turned on. My problem is when the phone is locked I can simply hit the hang up button and it unlocks the phone. If anyone has a fix for this please hit me back. I cant use this rom that way. Even though it the best rom ever. If you use a bluetooth with your tp and you dont want the keyboard to unlock your phone then pocket shield is the only way, and I have tried all shields out there.

I like this rom but has anyone been able to use my location in google maps(without gps and wifi on)? I've tried reflashing and changing radios to no avail.
