The only issue I've had so far is that every once in a while bluetooth seems to turn on by itself. I can go into settings and shut it off without issue so it's not a big deal. I have yet to find any actions that correlate with this happening.

All other problems relate directly to the missing HTC MMS/SMS module.

I thought i was the only person having that issue. I have no idea why its happening but i do notice it happening mostly i end a call.

NOOB question. I want to try out this rom but the file extension says .7z. I am used to the RUU files associated with these custom ROMS. How do I install this one?

Use 7zip or Winrar to open it. Should work fine.

.7z can be extracted with winrar.

HTC SENSE MESSAGING IS DISABLED. therefore you CAN NOT SEND A TEXT FROM THE MANILA TF3D2. you CAN use it to make a call and setup facebook just not send text. MUST use old style WM messaging

if you have those favs setup to touch then go to text messaging - it will want to route you to the HTC sense style messaging which is DISABLED - therefore it does nothing

Thanks! I didn't know the two were linked together. So I guess there's no need to keep the contacts tab then.

I feel like I'm getting closer to this manilashortcut problem I'm having. I've tried deleting manilashortcut.exe, renaming it, moving it, but the phone won't let me. Where are the registry settings that point to this? I'm trying to delete HTC Calendar, HTC Music, and HTC Twitter since all they do is point to the tab in Sense. I'm not that lazy so I don't need them, lol.

If I put a contact on the home tab though, I can choose "text" and it works fine (through the WM interface, not HTC's).

Is there a startup log I can look at? I'm trying to find out why these manilashortcuts pop up. It's gotta be a registry or a startup thing. I've made an empty manilashortcut.exe and dumped it into my windows directory. The shortcuts no longer work, but they still show up! Other than that, this rom is great, but this one issue has me wanting to pull my hair out. I feel like Bill Murray in Caddyshack and these shortcuts are the groundhog.
