I am trying to download the new build but it has an extension of .7z and I can't get it to unpack. I've tried changing the extension to .rar - Am I missing something.

what's flashdance? What I'm in the process of doing now is flashing to mightyrom through my SD (bcs I can't sync to my computer) and then I will hard reset, flash to stock, hard reset, and flash to this rom again and hard reset.

I hope that works.

Might want to download the 7-Zip freeware extractor. Worked fine for me.

the *.cab files won't run. anybody knows where the problem is?

Try this, works wonders for me, i can get a 20 second lock indoors WITHOUT ever using quickgps.

Reason why GPS seems to work with ROM x and not ROM y is because different ROMs have different GPS settings (a Sprint ROM vs an Alltel ROM vs a Generic ROM).

Post back if it works :-)

I already have done that in the past and it never helped. I believe the setting stay the same between flashes...

I seem to be having this problem as well on SENSE_2_5_COM5_RELEASE_RAPH800 I just did the flashdance with stock. Reflashing the phone now.

If you have winrar it will extract that file.
