so it's just a product of the dialer?

all right, I installed http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=53977 but it broke the quick links from my contacts tab.
Does anyone know of a compatible dialer for this ROM?

Do you want to try stock?

Go to HKLM\Security\Phone\Skin
Change dword for Enabled to 0

this seems like it'll work. I did it and something screwed up so I hard reset, I'll try again but this is most likely a good solution. thanks

edit - failure of contacts tab calling when I revert to default

After a hard reset?!! Did you install anything like an album with facebook integration? or anything that would require contacts after the hard reset?

nope, hard reset and sync, set up some favorites and they call when I hit the call icon on the contacts tab
once I change to default dialer, the call icon on the contacts tab doesn't dial out.

This rom seems awesome, but I have one serious issue with it...

Where in the hell is the standard "Internet Connection Sharing" application that pretty much comes with all roms?

Without that program I cannot do bluetooth data tethering out to another device, which is one of the most important things I use my phone for!

I have searched this thread, and found others asking about it as well, but no real answer..

I really don't want to have to flash back to another rom, I like this one!


Any answer please?
