midNIGHT ROM v7.0 GENERIC is here!!!!!

The midNIGHT ROM is back after some time off. I am back bringing you v7.0...
As usual this ROM is pure titanium with the exception of the USB pop up menu. This is built off the newer 6.5 build 21867. This is very fast, stable and clean.... There are very few extras. I have removed as much of the HTC stuff as possible... If you are a fan of manila then this probably isn't the rom for you.....I try to install as much via cab as possible to make it easy to upgrade later without having to reflash.

-pocket office w/onenote
-updated widgets (including bing)
-iContacts (set as the default contacts)
-black calc
-newest build of opera 9.7
-Windows Media Player 12 skin

-.net2.0/3.5/3.7
-slide to shut down
-rapid charge battery drivers
-tweaked video drivers
-enhanced file filter
-custom WM6.5 dialer
-Sprint Carrier stuff... (I will do a generic ROM if there is a need to)
Thats about all it includes..

Make sure you go to post 2 and download the SASHIMI files...VERY IMPORTANT.....

EXTRAS:

SASHIMI: This is needed in order to use SASHIMI auto install after flash. The contents of this .rar need to be extracted to a folder called SASHIMI and then placed in the root of your storage card. Add whatever cabs you want and remove the ones you don't. The cabs are found here: Storage Card>SASHIMI>AUTO>CABS......
I have included many freeware cabs in here already. Also the extra titanium panels are insalled via cab and are included (volume, twitter, facebook, comm manager,people ect)... Enjoy

Here is what to expect:
1) Flash
2) Hard Reset
3) Let customizations run
4) Phone will reset
5) SASHIMI auto run will load
6) select auto
7) follow prompts
8) enjoy

For those who would like to re-arrange the titanium panels give this app a try.....

YOu don't have to. But you will get an error during the first reboot and you willhave to delete the shortcut from the startup folder.

SASHIMI works really well. Very customizable and easy to use. It will auto install cabs, reg, morts. If phone dies or resets it pick right up where it left off. Worth a try.......

hmmm, that was easy, if battery life is as good as rom looks and runs, im sold. lots of nice apps, looks good with your tweaks to titanium ect.

ok, found the issue and its my fault, i sd flash so sashimi was on fat32 card that i remove after flashing, almost all cabs work but not titanium cabs on homescreen. all is good except i wanna move plugins order on homescreen, any way to do this or do i need another cab?

updated the 2nd post with the cab for the editor... I have not used it recently but it's pretty easy and works well from what I remember.

Which cabs don't work? Some of the panels require the corisponding software (example: Twitter needs the twitter app, facebook needs the facebook aps)..... Is this maybe what you are running into?

how did u get 4.2 weather's display to work out of the box? with my copy of 4.2 when i updatet the first time my display is screwed then i have to change the display icons for it to show correctly. yours is working right out of the box. nice rom!

I fixed it a while back. I don't remember what I did exactly but here is the oem and gps weather cab if your interested in taking a look at it......

Note that to use the GPS weather part of the weather panel the gps cab needs to be installed......

I'll try to get a cab made up for you if you would like it. Just let me know...

no issues op, i sd flash so the card with sashimi wasnt on phone after flash, without sashimi opera favs wouldnt import,weather wouldnt open and the comm plugin wouldnt open. put sashimi on other sd and softreset and all was good. this was totall my fault, not yours.

Ok. I tried to cab up the oem but that is not going to be pretty. So all I did was fix the weather 4.2 cab. I just replaced the TitaniumWeather.mscr with my fixed version.......Let me know if it works.....

Always love the Rom, but this dialer real sucks. Not finger friendly at all. I have tried to use others, but they wont install any suggestions on a different dialer. Thanks in advance

What dialer do you like to use???? What happens when you install a new dialer cab? Have you tried to turn on the dialer skin in advanced config after you intall the cab? Let me know.....

i prefer non tachi if you ask me. the phone canvas out of the new sprint rom should work. tachi is cool for some manila apps but u dont need it for titanium builds. imo.

Thanks, I have tried to install 3 different Dialers, 2 did nothing, but showed up in the add remove programs, and one installed but, was not the right size
