I used 9-19 ROM. The touch pro went to hard reset when i clicked on s2u2 settings. it was not reproducible. The ROM looks good but CPU intensive as you mentioned.

Alright I'll add it to my list. Yeah once I get it all together, I plan on weeding it all out and optimizing it so it's not such a battery/cpu hog. It could also have been a bad flash, I recommend always flashing to Stock (Shipped) first, let it customize and soft reset. Hard reset it again, then flash to this Rom. Helps clean out the pipes.

the calculater issue, couldn't find a skin so it wouldn't open.........installed a 3party one........but look forward to another update........I'm using the one you posted yesterday evening

Yeah it was an issue with the initflashfiles. I've got it up and working, cept now I have an issue with a Programs tab on the end of Manila. Crashes every time I scroll over to it, lol.

Trying out a few new things at the moment, let me know if you see any new bugs or differences in battery life. I know that start menu is still a mess but its gettin there

tried all morning to download using my phone, I made it as far as the page that shows the alternate links, first one was corrupt, wouldn't download at all.....the others you had to type in the letters that showed up, wouldn't take, kept refreshing new letters.........I'm going to try on my laptop when I go home for lunch.

hey there ... i see u added the programs tab but now i cant rearrange them it just shows programs and i black option now in the customize area ..thanks kick azz rom thou i just dont use the stocks tab and would like to remove it

I just noticed that the FingerKB link gives and error and quits. Something about invalid Pars...

customize/rearrange tabs is messed up.........I keep unchecking the Programs one, and it adds another Programs tab, delestes the All People tab

are you changing the SIP by holding the keyboard soft key? I just held it and changed it to the Finger Keyboard and it seemed to type okay? Can you elaborate more on the error?

Nevermind I see see it in the System Tools folder. UniFormatException Invalid URI. blah blha blahh. Alrighty I'll see if I can get it up and running again.

personally I never use the Programs tab in Manila...........never needed it.

Sprint at the moment, but I am cooking up a generic rom for you in a second. You might have to use a carrier cab from DCD or someone, I don't currently have any. Give me a few minutes.

Nice job on the rom. Very quick. I love how fast the camera works (The way it's supposed to). This seems to be one of the more different roms than I've tried before and It's impressive.

I've noticed that you have to tap the screen immediately when it says "tap device to begin using", if not, the image drops down a bit and tapping screen will do nothing..........had to keep resetting to figure it out how to get past it.

also, don't mess the with the Customize Tab for now

don't know if this is covered in the area describing how to flash...........it's encouraged to reflash to stock (alltel, sprint, etc.), then to the custom rom (reflectionist)..........when you do that, you lose current PRI, PRL and radio..........I recommend update all three of those before flashing to the new rom........if not, updating the PRI afterwards creates ghosting images of all the icons in WM6.5.

Thank you very much! I plan on sticking around here in TP VGA land while every other fickle flasher runs to the TP2... I'm mean I'd kill for one, but these forums have died down a bit since the TP2.

:O sounds like a bit of what was happening with Energyrom awhile back... But I always recommend that for everyone to do regardless of what they are flashing to! I've given up on the customize tab for now lol. Now I'm going to focus on drivers and such for a bit. (which whenever I do that I end up screwing up the kitchen, but oh well, it's a learning process.) I can't for the life of me get rid of the following Icons on the Start Menu: Home, Alarms, Task Manager, BT OnOff, Total Commander, and System Info.

I don't understand it, I have the regs set right and the init dats and all that. But they keep showing up.... They will be the death of me.

Glad to hear you'll be making ROMs for us poor slobs who cannot get the TP2.
I figure there's not enough difference for me to jump ship and besides, it sounds like Manila 2.5 will be coming soon to us anyway...

BTW that little "splat" image that surrounds the icon program you select in the start menu- is that a new thing MSN is doing now?

I loaded your rom last night and I hit the start button and all of the icons seem to overlap eachother and iam unable to use them. I am have a sprint TP.

Did you try a soft reset or even a hard reset to see what happens? I don't have that problem with mine.

I did notice that the neuCPL-power program seems to have a problem where hitting "Backlight timeout" doesn't allow me to chose any options. This may be a problem with the program itself.

Pro- the large buttons which make selections easier...

I am actually having the same issue with the backlight. I actually came on here to see if there was a solution posted for this. Otherwise I am loving this rom.

I didn't like the backlight app, didn't give me options.............here's the fix:
you'll need to edit your registry -
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
ControlPanel
Backlight

then delete the "redirect", soft-reset.............then Start, Settings, System, Backlight

a few roms I've downloaded don't have Owner Information, Input, etc.......you can find those folders in that Control Panel tree; in case this happens to you using another rom, just look for Owner for example, delete the redirect and it will come back............I noticed there's a Contrast, delete the redirect and you'll have that feature too.

CALENDAR day-month-ect button icon is the same as the menu button and the top bar arrows are misplaced

whoa now theres all these bugs popping up ahhhh lol. I noticed the Calendar icon no longer works under utilities in start menu. I'm gonna fix it, and cook in that Backlight fix.
