Thanks for the reply bikeandestroyx......and sorry for wasting your time but I kindah figured out what I was doing wrong!
On the .reg file I was putting "[HKLM....." instead of "[HKey_Local_Machine...." and that ended in me not getting the desired results! Thanks anyway though, roms a BEAST.....BEST ROM EVER....and kitchen! Still a couple programs I can't get on here for whatever reason but everything is going good now!

By the way, does this rom work on TP2s too?!

no worries, its always the little things you look over. Ive dont that before too.

This definately wont work on the tp2, you would need to switch most apps to WVGA, swap oemdrivers, and oemxipkernel

All the above aside, I have a question for those who downloaded the kitchen.... about 50 people...

Did you find the FAQ useful or was the kitchen self explanitory? DO you think it lacked in areas? Or focused on the wrong things?

Looking for constructive critism (sp)....

Well, on a scale of 1-10 I would say a "9!" The Faq covered just about everything that you would need to know about the kitchen & how to customize the rom! The only problem I had was with this......

You would go into EXT/2_Base/ Opera_Browser_9_50_17289_0. Open the folder. You will see a file called app.dat. Edit this file with notepad. The third to last line reads “Directory("\Windows\Start Menu\Multimedia"):-File("Opera Browser.lnk","\Windows\Opera Browser.lnk")” (Line 126 with notepad++) (NOTE: In all the app.dat files, “this” line appears towards the end.) Change the word MultimediaDirectory("\Windows\Start Menu\Multimedia") to whatever folder you want.
Step 2: Since opera uses a custom icon, we now have to point the custom icon in the right direction also. Goto EXT 6_Silence_Themes. Open the folder (in this case multimedia since that is what we are moving from). Open app.reg Locate the one for Opera. It reads “[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Shell\StartInfo\Start\Multimedia\Opera Browser.lnk]
"Icon"="\\windows\\OperaMobile.png"". Change Multimedia to the new folder.

I couldn't follow because its all together and not step by step! Plus I'm really not familiar with that function!

A couple of the programs I tried to put in the rom didn't come out either & I dont know why! Any help on that?!

But overall the faq is THE BOMB! Everything you would need to know about the kitchen is in there for that matter!

appreciate the feedback, will try to keep it cleaner in futher releases. I will be writing the faq for the mightyrom TP2 thread and if silence makes a TP2 rom and wants me to write a FAQ, i will try...

I appreciate it! Truthfully for me, if it wasn't for that fact I would have been screwed! I was so used to the Silence/Mighty kitchen that when I saw this I was like "WHAAATT?" but I read your faq before I used it & its pretty sweet! The first time I had this much freedom on a rom!

Quick question though:
Is there any other way to put programs on this rom other than .EXT?! Some of my .EXT files dont transfer to the rom even though they are in the EXT folder!

Other than that you go through a great deal of keeping people updated with those faqs! Uber thanks from me!
