Re: [SilenceROM Final Build 23016 Manila 2.1 Native 6.5 Kernel SEPT.15.09]

Tested the rom out today. Here are my thoughts about it.

Battery- Amazing. Spent probably over 2 hours (not continuously) surfing with opera mini. Probably 15 texts up to now, spent some time customizing installing cabs, I read a digg article for like 20 min using skyfire, answered 1 phone call for 2 min, and just generally explored the rom.
---Battery is now at 60% from 8:00am when I left home it was 90% its now about 5:00pm= 8 hours -30%
Performance- Every program was REAL speedy. Every time I hit the home key TF3D would immediately jump to the home screen. Menus were real responsive. Weather worked fine, but would not show up in the calendar day view, even after setting my city in the clock tab. Texting was fast, switching from landscape to portrait is no problem no glitches. Camera was working well. NO random crashes. Stable so far!
RAM- Ok now for the RAM review. Upon boot My phone starts at 50% being used. After loading 3 or 4 programs at a time, no slow down sluggishness happens. After closing the programs using the htc task manager the ram jumped up to 75% like only 40ish available. and would not go back down. BUT nothing slowed up or was sluggish still. After using cleanRAM 1.8 I freed only 11MB on level 2 purge. back up to like 60 RAM available. Could not jump back to the first booted level of ram, so I soft reset. I then installed the nopushinternet.cab and the ram seemed to be about the same with a little more free but not like 10mb.

Things I still want to do or test
-Htcwifirouter
-4 Program Program tab with Manila

Sorry for being rude, just my opinion! The last 6.5 rom he put out was so sluggish that I ended up going back to Silence/Mighty rom plus it had nothing on it.....I guess that made me appreciate this rom a lot more!!!!!!

I ended up flashing to the stock rom right before this one came out because everyone else said they were! Good flash but I just can't see who's calling me & I really don't wanna do a hard reset because I'm lazy but I guess I gotta do what I gotta do!

Thanks for the reply too!
Exclamation points... the sure sign of an insane mind.

Silence, Why the beautiful roms with such great attention to detail but you put the WVGA date picker where the ok cancel buttons are off the bottom of the screen and you cant jump the years so if you have to enter a date ie like july 7 2010 you have to click the screen at least 10 times vs 2 with the proper date picker?
