I cannot upload anything at work. blah. It will have to be later tonight.

Interesting note: with 23541, my youtube also loses its audio.

I would be willing to be that that it is your problem, remove it. wince.nls is device specific, I already have wince.nls in OEM. try without that I bet it'll work then.

EDIT: that might be confusing. the short answer is: leave wince.nls as it was, do not replace it. just remove the new one from SYS. remove the WinceNLS_WWE folder from SYS along with voip, voipos, etc (voip is not applicable to the tp's - I also did not know that when I made the final TP kitchen)

What about imageinfo.bin you have in .ROM. In both SYS and OEM I believe I changed them also.

leave .ROM and .VM alone too. AFAIK they are also device-specific. As a general rule, don't replace the things in OEM unless you are updating oemdrivers or something

So I can upload to megaupload, just not my own site. Maybe that will be different if I ever download an aftermarket ftp client

I was thinking about it..

anyway, brad, while I wait for my kitchen to DL, I went ahead and ran the 23541 rollup though my sorting script. I then removed the following things:

Code:

BaseAppsModules
BronzeEA
CommonEA
COMPLEXSCRIPT_FONTS
gb18030
IRDA
IRDA_Lang_0409
MediaOSModules
MODEMLINK
MSIMAR
MSIMAR_DPI_192
MSTag
MSTag_Lang_0409
MSXIPKernelLTK
NonPhone
OSModules
Riched20_CS
RIL710MUX
UNISCRIBE
VoIP
VoIPOS
Webview_CS
WinCENLS_WWE

will post back when its done of course ;)

Sweet. Your script is saving me so_ much time =P

Is there any harm in adding the above exclusions to your script? or getting your script to delete all _skip files?

Waiting for TP battery to charge above 50%. You know how hard it is to flash and talk on TP at same time. Forgot to charge.

There is one thing I have learned since though is how to make the phcanimages.dll MUCH smaller, and that is by converting the images in it to indexed mode, which cuts down on size by like 600%

so how would we apply this to the TP kitchen?
