really I think it'd be fine with a 16mb PP, I started using 20 for manila roms and now I just make em all 20. I have also experimented with 0 (dynamic pagepool) dynamic was ok, I did not test extensively, seemed fine to me though. everyone has different things to say about pagepool. it's just like "what rom is the best?" it all depends on how you like to use your phone.

:scratch:... I assume this a new development. I just changed my TF3d wallpaper successfully. if you mean for the WM wallpaper (start menu bg) I have always done that in pictures and videos, just open the picture, click menu and set as home background. this also works on my rom (the one I just uploaded). I did see though that it does not work via the settings menu. dont know why. it worked on the non bugfix release?

btw the kitchen is up:

Sounds and Notifcations when trying to change the ringtones once i hit okay it just scrolls through all my ringtones and just auto sets to first ringtone that shows up and resets all settings doesn't save any and won't close unless hit end button.

also arcsoft had graphical error in landscape then froze when i hit set as default to my alltel settings and had to soft reset. seems to happen everytime go into landscape (well for me atleast)

obviously the packages that fixed the manila issues break other things. I am pulling this one back AGAIN..

yeah manila is a b****. IMO, a b**** to even try to use let alone cook it lol. anyway I am done bashing on it.. I have some ideas as to why it broke everything else, just based on how the manila issues were fixed.
It is also a great thing that the titanium rom is unaffected, meaning the problems lie only in manila, which is a relief. It SUCKS to make so many changes to certain areas of a kitchen only to find out the problem was there all along somewhere else..

i honestly think its showcasesuite because when i open tmail.exe and then try and close it it freezes my phone just like it did when i installed showcase on the last rom.

well that is not what is causing the wallpaper/ringtone issues, but I do think it contributes to little freezes ... I personally have no problem with removing it as I am happy with hitting start > task manager to close programs

Re: [ROMs][KITCHEN]->>Oct 16<<6.5 NK-RZ Baseline 23069 TF3d 2.1 & Titanium

yeah i think it'd be better removed or maybe uninstallable.

Re: [ROMs][KITCHEN]->>Oct 16<<6.5 NK-RZ Baseline 23069 TF3d 2.1 & Titanium

things that are cooked in cannot be uninstalled. I will just tell people to install it themselves if they want it. Since 23060 I have gotten used to the lack of the task manager in the top already, in fact with the new native kernel I don't think I have had any issues with memory management.

i've seen some roms with a taskbar thats hidden where the new taskbar clock is. but hey if i gotta go taskbarless to have a working raidzero rom i'll do it. :D

lol thanks! I figured out what is breaking the ringtones and wallpapers in manila: htc framework. the sad part is weather gps location relies on it... (or so I'm told)

not unfixable, just going to look for a different version of it that doesnt break anything :)

i've never gotten GPS weather to work and don't know how honestly.

Task Manager 2.1.1918.3631.20 is what another rom with same system build runs it has a task manager but its hidden in the right upper corner. maybe something to look into?

it works on my rom, have you tried it? mine worked out of the box, not using gps since I was inside but it got close, then when I got home it told me I was halfway across the state, but at least it worked.. lol I think the geolocation service needs work on htc's part

eh I wont worry about it then, I just flashed my "fixed" manila rom onto my active TP so we'll see if it all works as intended. I am downloading murdarom which is the only reference to that task manager version I could find.

geolocation weather still works without htc framework :)
so does youtube
so what exactly htc framework DOES (besides break ringtones and wallpapers) i do not know..

and oh yeah, this is the first time I have used UC (only for exchange settings). that is badass I was so tired of entering the same stuff over and over and over..

It is just a reg setting to get it hidden, also in the 23071 build it doesnt work, the taskbar covers it, looks like we might have to switch to showcase, i also read somewhere if you tap the clock, then tap it again taskmanager should show up

badx! nice to see you around... I have many questions on 23071, like why does it suck so much. but after you get past that, how does it run? (I cant get past the suckage)

but to be fair I deserved it, it was her birthday and I was supposed to be baking a cake, not a rom.
