try what? op, your fix didnt work either. i love the rom but opera i need. someone please post a cab of opera thats working for them, my scroll speed is slow as hell using 16277

is there any chance you'll ever make a lite ROM? like one without lumos, dredsensor, and taskfacade?
nothing against these programs, just dont really use them...

ok well dredsensor is starting to grow on me, but anyway... downloading ;-)

the probelm is not opera. it is the changes under the hood that microsoft is making. as i said, there will be bug that we as a community might not be able to fix and we will have to wait for microsoft to figure it all out. as a work around though, and what i have been doing, use the capacitive area of your phone to zoom. circle the center button clockwise to zoom in and counter clockwise to zoom out.

until microsoft gets the x button actually closing apps, a third party task manager is pretty much required and since the clock now gets in the way of the htc task manager i feel taskfacade is the best looking and easy to use task manager.

and as i said before, most of the apps running are using a minuscule amount of resources and shouldnt be effecting battery in a noticable amount. all but lumos are event driven, meaning they are not effecting anything until you activate them. lumos does poll but managing the backlight in a better fashion saves more energy than it is using. or at least it always has for me. you can verify how much each process is working by watching them in task manager.
