I agree, I don't plan on getting rid of Titanium (aka Windows Default on WinMo 6.5 devices), the JMLToday I speak of is a panel in Titanium. A screenshot is attached. Thinking it might replace the stand alone time panel, since it offers time plus a few other features. (Screenshot shows just one of many skins available).

This HTC Touc Pro is the first PPC I have ever owned. Six days ago I discovered the concept of internet sharing. I tried to use it and it constantly had problems, never staying connected more than 10-15 minutes, so I downloaded WMWifiRouter, same issues, downloaded the updated Alltel TP ROM, still same issues. Not to mention the stock ROM being extremely sluggish, crashing, issues with the device wanting to turn back on after a soft reset, SMS and MMS being extremely sluggish, sometimes not receiving either SMS or MMS for 2 days after them being sent. I tried all the fixes I could find, started studying up on registry edits, .cab fixes, and different hacks to no avail.

Then three days ago, I stumbled upon a thread about ROM's, which seemed extremely initmidating with the possibility of bricking the phone. But when I ran into yours I couldn't help but read through all 23 pages of posts. After reading through it, what people had to say, and how many people seemed dedicate to finding fixes for the small problems you seemed to have, and seeing your example pics I finally got up the nerve to try it.

In short, I am sorry to be so long-winded but for someone as new to PPC as I am, your ROM was easy to understand, I unlocked, and flashed it without a single issue or problem, it has fixed nearly EVERY issue I was having prior to flashing your ROM. The interface looks so much cleaner, it's smoother, everything functions properly, the menus transition easily and quickly into one another, and I haven't had a single crash since I flashed your ROM.

In other words; thank you for what you do, and the time you dedicate to this. I was ready to throw my phone through a wall after spending a decent amount of money on it, and NEVER going back to a PPC, and you have completely changed my views on PPC's, especially the TP. Thank you Thank you, a million times over.

The only problems I seem to be having, and please let me know if I just have some settings wrong on my end or if it could be your ROM, but if it is you ROM, I just wanted to attempt to help and let you know what's happening on this end.

1.Picture messages coming in VERY small. I tried to install the Arcsoft that "evil" suggested but haven't seen a difference as of yet.
Solved: Installed dcd_Alltel_Carrier_20090704.cab and Alltel_Arcsoft_5.0.71.33.R3, seems like the other versions didn't mesh, but these two together fixed the problem. And then go into your text inbox, Menu>Pic-Video Options>Server Tab> Change connection to "The Internet"

2. Regular internet sharing crashes out on me, ActiveSync tries to connect, and the phone asks for my unlock code.

3.Occasionally my battery stops charging and I can sit and watch the percentage drop rather quickly.... this happen with both USB cords that I have for the phone, and whether it is connected to AC power or and active USB port.
Possible cause:Battery over-heating, stopped the charge????

4.Weather has problems connecting to the internet.
Solved:Found a different Titanium.msc, copied and pasted into programs/titanium_weather

And once again thank you for all you efforts and keeping me from being turned against all PPC's for good. BTW, awesome work on the design, icons, theme, graphics, and all.

Thanks for the kind words! Glad my ROM was able to help.

Now for the bad news. Due to my computer crashing, I haven't been able to do any work on the new releases I have been hinting at. Also, due to that pesky thing called life :) I have had very little time for working on things like that anyway. So, at this point I will have to say Chaos ROM is shut down for now. :( If I am able to start working on things again I will let everyone know, but until then there will be no more updates and my appearance on PPCGeeks will be few and far between.

If looking for a great ROM, try out Baseline by RaidZero or Demolition by Bikeandestroyx. Both are linked to in my signature, and both are made by very competent chefs.

Looks awesome! I'm going to try it out when i get up tomorrow. *sigh* i wish i could make my own ROM or at least learn how to make my own themes, I love messing with photoshop :)

Stop wishing and start doing it!! It's really not that hard once you read a little and try a few times. It won't be like these guys ROMs at first, but it will be a start.

I love the rom but a little disappointed that there is no voice command. And that the mail tab only has outlook. any way to change these?
