I can actually do that... I have been thinking about that but wasn't sure anyone would like it. I will try to get that up this afternoon. Also the lockscreen is the old style because the lock interferes with the HTC dialer...... But I can easily restore that.....

If you get a chance see if you can find any cool wm 6.5 dialers and I can include them in the HTCless release......

Ah, I should have known that, the HTC dialer was always the first thing to go with other roms I've been trying out (and then removing the HTC Volume via cab).

Ok here comes another n00b question. After flashing and using SASHIMI do i need to remove sashimi from my storage card or is there aonther way to stop it from loading on every reboot? I searched and did not find an answer, also poked around a bit in sashimi to see if i could find a setting to change. But i didnt poke too far as im new to sashimi. I like it though....everything i usualy hafta spend 30 minutes reinstalling, clickin OK etc was done for me.

My apologies if this has been answered.

EDIT: The new 4.0 midNIGHT is as awesome as the rest of your work.

Anyone else running into crazy batter drain on midnight v4? It seems that my data connection is constantly connected. If I want to push it, I can usually get 2 days out of my TP, yesterday it was dead by 9pm.

I meant to post about that so I will do that now. After you run through your installs you will need to delete the shortcut from your startup folder. Or as you pointed out it just keeps going with every reboot. This was the only way I could get it to work. The other option I had was not to make it automatic but manual. You would just have to navigate the SASHIMI>>>Programs>>>BIN then tap the first SASHIMI link. Then it will run like normal and be done after reboot. I can do it that way from now on if that would be easier. You guys let me know. My goal is to make it as user friendly as possible.

Also I tried to reply to you last night but Win7 crapped out on me. I will try to post a pure wm 6.5 with little to no HTC stuff some time soon. I want to work on the 6.5 dialer and the auto lock still doesn't work right.

Thanks for pointing out the auto install issues I had forgotten about it.

Sorry, you got to it before I remembered to post that it was on midNIGHT v4 (5.2.22001), I'm downloading singularity now.

I'd imagine you could put together a mortscript that would pull the shortcut to sashmi from the startup folder once it runs for the first time. Just a thought.

Or simply delete the shortcut afer 1 run like is is supposed to do. Great idea but I am not well versed in mortscript so if anyone else it by all means please step up.

Thanks for the feedback....

Attached is a mortscript that will delete the Sashimi shortcut in the StartUp folder. Should be able to go in Scripts under Auto.
