Go to the S2U2 folder in the system tools folder. Tap the lock icon and that will close it down at least till you reset.

how do I force the predictive text off? there is a delay in typing because of it... the settings under input had no effect.

On the hardware keyboard press fn and the space button. Select ABC

The ROM is very fast! I really don't know why, but it's much faster at loading Excel, notepad, music id etc... Hardly any delay. I'm even playing with PointUI and everything is flying. nice job!

I am currently using midnight v1 on my Alltel TP. I love it! Aside from S2U2 (which i have disabled) and the predictive text (also disabled now) i have NO complaints. Fast and stable. None of the usual bloat. I am goin to try ur kitchen out and see if i can make my own Alltel rom. Awesum stuff man. Keep up the excellent work.

Try reducing the pagepool size, it's set to 32 by default. I cannot reproduce any of the problems you are discribing. I will try to rebuild another rom with an updated xip and drivers tonight.

Sorry for the delay in my response - I was away for a few days. Let me clarify. I did not use the kitchen. I flashed the pre-build ROM posted in the first post. I am now running the latest one "midNIGHT v2 ROM Singularity Edition build 23009 WORKING GPS". The only thing I added to it is Mobile Shell interface which I use with all other ROMs as well. I did not install anything else at this point. USB freezing seems to be gone now in this latest revision - THANK YOU! The last problem that I have is once in a while the phone does not come out from standby when I press the power button. Pulling out stylus or opening kb does not help. Screen stays black. The battery is full. I have to soft-reset to bring it back to life. That's the only issue with this ROM for me at this point.

Thanks!

I have not experienced any of those problems. I also heard of the usb freeze but that was fixed. My phone comes out of stand by just fine.

Has anyone else experienced this problem???

Updated the first post with the generic carrier oem. Navigate to the oem folder in the kitchen and replace the sprint carrier with this one. Only do this if you are not with sprint. Then you can let the customization run.

Got to restore my desktop and will be redoing this thread to make it alittle cleaner and user friendly. I have a new ROM and Kitchen Build for you today once I finish. I will start leaving my older roms up so people have a choice.

Just cause I post a new build doesn't mean there is anything wrong with my older ROM. Just the latest leaked version. You can decide which one you like. I may open a new thread and shut this one down so I can make so changes I need to make.

Thanks

Love this ROM. Really stable. The first one I've tried (and I've tried a LOT), where all of what I want from Titanium actually works 100%. Thank you for sharing it!

On a completely different subject...It has been so long since I've used S2U2, I don't remember how to change a setting. How do you get the phone lock to come on after a minute or more, instead of the default 15-30 seconds?
