Help!

Ok I have mcafee and it picks up a possible intrusion which really isnt!!
What it picked up was the package builder from the tools folder!!
This is from the authur ervius and is used by all of us chefs!!
The program is just an alternate way to build an oem file!!

Rename it to welcomehead.192.png and drop it off in your \Windows directory.

Ever single edition of this rom so far has been giving me a connection error with QuickGPS, and so it refuses to update.
Did you verify that your Location Settings are correct? Dialer - Options - Services - "Location Settings" - Hit "Get Settings" and make sure it's ON.

You need to go into your settings/today/check the 'Use this picture as the background' box, then browse, select the photo, and there you go!

Hope this helped!

Hey Rourke,
i believe it has to be welcomehead.192.png, and make sure you overwrite the old one in the windows directory.

the folks at Juicy 8 would disagree with the speed of the Silent Mighty ROM, but they are sadly mistaken!

Why not use oprea to access sprint account?

Ohhh, well, I could, but the thing i've been trying to get to the bottom of is this: There is a version of Sprint Mobile Mail that works on our PROs. I think it's from the Mogul or something. BUT, the problem is, the authentication process fails and push doesn't work all the time. While I was on the Mighty ROM 4, it was working perfectly. Push from Sprint is really nice, since it doesn't keep your data connect open all the time. :D Anyway, I was thinking that maybe if i can get the powerdeck site from IE to recognize it, it would be a step towards trouble shooting why it's not working on this ROM. o_O

Also, maybe you can answer this Silence: I still haven't figured out how to change the signal and data arrows. I looked in all the dll files, but all of them have the icons, but not the fuzzy ones that are default in this ROM. All i'm trying to do is, have the nice crisp ones that are in the LargeTitleBar.dll be used instead of the original low resolution ones that Sprint decided to put in.

Here is the only problem I have currently. I have the Phantom email issue. I have one account set up for my Gmail, but I have 5 folders/account icons in my email tab. I was searching, and I found 2 answers. 1) using SDK something to delete the phantom accounts, and 2) use active sync, but uncheck the email sync option. Anyone have a cab for the SDK option, or does the active sync solution work well enough? BTW I hard reset 3 times after flashing.

I was worried last night after flashing cause after I restored my PIM, i was getting a voice recog error, and I was unable to add my email accounts to the email tab. I thankfully saved my PIM twice, and used the other backup to restore it. Worked like a charm today.

I am still unsure of the battery life. I am on about 14 hours and the battery is down to 2 bars. not sure if that is because I was installing all my CABs. I was getting similar battery life with the original 6/21 build. Tomorrow will be the test since I am working again.

Still, this build has been rock solid all day, and super fast.
