anyone having problems with downloading ringtones from myxer.com? everytime i try to download it either from a SMS or straight from site it saves it as a .gcd and it wont let me change format): and in my settings i even put save ringtones as mp3s :/ any help would be greatly appreciated

I'm still on the June 22 ROM and never had the keyboard issue or anything else thankfully. Tonight I flashed to the Sprint 1.11 radio and noticed it says my ROM date is 6/16 which is funny since this ROM wasn't out then. I am sure it said 6/22 the other day. Since everything is running so perfect I don't want to mess with things. Just odd the date says 6/16 now but whatever. This is how this phone should have been when I got it last October, everything flies. Was having issues with my hw keyboard so might have to get a replacement soon if it continues since it seems what it was doing is what happens before it craps out completely. :(

This may seem a little odd, is there a way to get the original sprint operator logo back on the home tab? The one with the word Sprint and next to it the yellow logo.

how do i update the radio if i wanted to? i am also on sprint. and what are the benefits , if any, of updating radio?

Same way as you did the ROM flash. From what I have read different radios can offer better signal, data speeds or battery life (due to better signal strength.) This post has the available radios:

Lot of people have good luck with the Telus radio. I tried the Sprint 1.11 since I am in the DC/Baltimore areas and I saw someone who tested them all and that worked best for him. Figured I would see if it makes a difference and worst case I can go back to my original one or try another. Data speed tests were a little faster for me on 1.11, I have to wait until I leave the house to check signal strength since I have an Airave at home.

i am on stock radio and i get 0-1 bars in my house. also, i dont have airave. so i guess i'll give the other radio (1.11) a try and see if its any better.

edit: so.. do i have to hard reset after installing the radio rom?
