what happens is say for example i am trying to send an email to jimmybobby123@email.com and i do not have that email addy saved in my contact list. say for example i do have jimmybobby@email.com saved for a contact, when i type both of the suggestion boxes will pop up and try to get me to select jimmybobby@email.com but once i get to the 123 part of the email address it just stops right there. it looks like the suggestion box drops below the To: line because i can see what looks like the top part of the box, but it is cut off.

i will try to get some screen shots up for you later this afternoon.

just save his email address to your contacts. Then from the email tap the to box and select his name from the list. This will solve your problem. It's shouldn't freeze but this is a work around until it is fixed

tapping anything that pops up in teh suggestion box is a sure fire way to get it to freeze. the email addy has to be saved in contacts somewhere and i have to manually type the whole thing out. when i am done i have to make sure i tap anywhere on the screen except for teh suggestions boxes. that is how i am working around it.

on a side note, my showaco weather took a dump on my today. i uninstalled and reinstalled and still nothing but big red x'd out circles. it says it is updating and it has worked just fine until this afternoon. i will have to check over on xda about that one.

Either you read what i wrote wrong, or i didn't do a good job of explaining it. I have a similar problem when starting to type the name and then selecting it from the suggestion box That's not what i meant. Once you save his name in your contacts. Compose an email, before typing anything press the enter button, and it will pull up your contacts. Select his email and you should be just fine.
