Thats the trick of using one of those backup programs. they are really only designed to back up your phone to restore to the same rom.

Thats why sashimi rewls. plus its free!

Actually, sprite does have a "rom update" restore mode that worked pretty darn well, at least when going from one 6.5 rev to another...

Pretty much it all comes back exactly as it was pre-flash, no config needed.

I did do a more basic PIM data backup/restore (actually using the MS MyPhone service, which worked fine) to go from 6.1 to 6.5....

I see we have a new rev ;) I'll have to flash that tomorrow.

The instruction are all clearly laid out in post 4 for you to read and learn.

First off, I love this ROM. Thanks Groovy. I am having one problem though. When I am streaming music using WMP it shuts off when my backlight goes off. I tried changing the toggle screen button to ENTER but that did not work. With other ROMs I was able to listen without having the screen on and using extra battery. Please help, is there anything else I can do? Thanks

with new kitchen i am getting error the file :\windows\OMC_0.9.917.cab does not exist during customization. customization willnot complete.
