Although I don't have an exact answer, I do agree that it has to do with the way Telus is formatting the wav files. Here's what I can tell you about that file format you uploaded: IMA ADPCM 4:1 (MS) 8000Hz, Mono, 64kbps

As I mentioned, I can play Vonage voicemails file, which have the following file format: CCITT u-law 2:1 8000Hz, Mono, 64kbps

So, I don't know if it's the codec or the compression level, but regardless WMP won't play them. You might wanna try the PPC version of winamp.

The real question is, what app plays them in the stock Telus ROM?

This was the issue I was haveing with Telus as a dealer. For my customers, I wouldn't use the wav clip option or I would show them how to load TCPMP or I would tell them to load TCPMP. But out of the box, it doesn't play the file... Telus says that the file is playable on your home PC which is why people have the file sent to their email, they won't listen to humble ol me when I try and explain that the people who get this feature recieve email on their phones.

By the way, no problems with my phone all weekend and I was away from civilization. This is by far the best 6.5 Rom to date, I've been around the block with them. Thank you

These being Continent, Country, State, City and the symbol is available on the symbols map or Shift+\ on your PC keyboard.

Since I have no Touch Pro to test with, and other users say it works, I just don't know what to tell you. Sorry. I'm gonna talk to Mighty and JMZ about it, and see if they can come up with anything. If so, I'll let you know..

Wow, does everyone go to bed early here?
Save your .mps file to the *Rings* folder which is in the *Windows* folder under *My Device*

Select .mp3 file -> Menu -> Edit -> Copy
Go to the top of your tree and select My Device
Go to -> Windows -> Rings folders then -> Menu -> Edit -> Paste

Now when you go to change your Ring Tone under Phone Options, the file title will now show up in your list.

Groove, what else besides .net and the sms fix is included in the latest 060809 GrooveROM over the prior GrooveROM?

That's it.

Keep in mind that I've been cultivating this ROM over in the Diamond forum for some time, and that it's pretty much at the point where I want it. So, that said, all updates are likely to be only bug fixes and OS updates, with an occasional oem app update.
