I don't think you could have flashed an EnergyROM if your phone wasn't unlocked. Your question about menus is unclear, so no help can be offered there.

This is a longshot, but you could try installing a sdkcerts.cab to allow the attempted updates to install. However, sdkcerts should already be cooked into the ROM. I wonder if the problem is that what you're trying to install is older than what's cooked in? As for Opera, you can't uninstall anything that's cooked into the ROM, but you can still install Opera 10 if you want.

just two days ago something weird happen for some reason my touch pro decided that i had just flashed my phone and was starting my phone for the first time and it hard reset its self automatically even though recently all i had done was restart my phone soft reset and that it. it was the Dec 21, 2010 21916 titanium can you tell me what happened? anyway weirdness i downloading the standard or something

A few folks have reported something similar in the past. I've never seen that happen, and I bet you won't either if you use the Task 29 process. If you want Titanium, I recommend downloading a standard Sense version & then disable Sense via Settings. That will make sure you've got all the packages necessary for everything to work as expected, as sometimes there's weird Sense dependencies with apps, etc. in the stripped down Titanium ROM. Even so, I doubt anything like that could cause a hard reset.

I managed to get 5.2.85 working as well as my picture mail (Arcsoft Messaging 5.2.85 is also the most recent update released back in May/June).
As for Opera I'm simply running out of program space on my phone and I don't need 9.6.

Okay, I know this seems a bit off topic. But does anybody know what the realy song is for "Star" in the ringer settings for EnergyROM? I had it running on my phone and it's been driving me insane trying to figure out what it is. (I think) I heard it in a Target commercial once(if that's any help). Many thanks in advance.

I just wanted to stop in and say thanks to NRG for making my touch pro experiance better than HTC did. I just got an Evo today, so I will be moving on to something brand new and exciting. . . but I will keep checking back here to see what you have cooking, and answer any questions that I can.

If this is a false positive why cant it be fixed? Just wondering. Thanks for the awesome rom.

It's up to the AV vendors and their users. The detection is either a chance signature match, or more likely, a generic heuristic behavior hit.

Antivir no longer detects it because I submitted it to them as a suspected false positive. Their analysis confirmed this & it was excluded from their detections. Other folks should do the same if their AV vendor flags it. Some AV software provides an automated way to do this. If not, 60 seconds on Google should turn up the proper page/address for a particular vendor.

Avast has never reported a false positive on Energy Roms for me. Your mileage may vary, but you might want to contact your anti-virus vendor.
