I have tried multiple styles of the Oct 20 release and they all seem to put my Touch Pro (Alltel) into a boot loop. For now I am going to go back to the Oct 14 release. I would like to go back to the Standard Energy release but I cannot seem to find a download for it... here is all the other flavors but not the standard. If anyone can direct me to theOct 14 standard release download, or instruct me on how to make the Oct 20 release not boot loop it would be much appreciated. (c;

Sorry about that, I was not very clear about my post, I was referring to Cookies preferred flavor of the release, not titanium or max UI (android themed). >.<

i L.O.V.E. this rom! awesome job, small (well actually huge) problem, on my touch pro the keyboard doesnt type when used. nothing from the keyboard works, almost like it was a diamond that goes into landscape when you slide the keyboard out

A couple of things to think about:
- make sure you Task29 or flash the stock rom 1st (I personally don't use Task29), to clean up memory.
-With any new rom flash, be sure to do a soft reset after to get the keyboard working right...
-Let the system get used to the battery, after several days your battery life should radically improve.
-If you are using Cookie 2.0 beta, get the fix from XDA, it will greatly help the battery life...

ok so sometimes the 'slide to answer' is almost completely hidden under the start bar at the bottom... i dont know if anyone else is having this problem or not, and forgive me if its been addressed before... searched quite a few places, but no real luck on any solutions... i really like the slider, (since it keeps the phone from answering in my pocket or whatever), so id prefer not to disable it... ive tried all the basic stuff, reflashing with task 29, soft resets... again, some calls it works fine, others it doesnt... does anyone have any ideas? thanks in advance...

also, just a bug ive noticed as well, the battery icon for me always goes to full after i reflash and stays that way... i did find a fix for that, installing a new battery icon cab, but that does change the icon to one different than the rest on the taskbar...

(btw, i love this rom... currently using the oct 14 touch of glass, cookie 2.0 21681 version, and cant wait for the next!)

- This for me settles after a couple of soft resets of the phone, there used to be a manillaposition.exe that would assist in adjusting the canvas on a new flash but I have not needed it since we moved to the 20XX series of Manila.

May be as simple as soft resetting, some have reported that installing a cab (any cab) and resetting solves keyboard issues. Possibly a hardware issue, see here:
