I had no problems with any NRG rom,
but only 1 thing, that is receiving mms..
I can send and receive texts,,, I can send mms, but was not able to receive mms.
I tried all the NRG roms I have downloaded since Dec.
I had more but deleted the rest..I have always had the mms problems with all NRG roms,
so all weekend I tried them using all kinds of fixes.. nothing worked..

edit: just got it to work... this is what i did.. hope this helps..
installed origdefault wmtexting4manilla.cab then remove picturemail and arcsoft.cab which is attached to this thread,
then my own arcsoft cab for mms for metropcs...

I am having the same issue. Where can I find the origdefault wmtexting4manilla.cab ? I would greatly appreciate your help. Thanks

NOTICED THIS ON THE 2.1 21XXX BUILDs

ALSO AFTER A DAY THE MEMORY GOES FROM 44% TO 52%.

I HOPE THERE IS ANOTHER ONE COMING UP... OTHER THAN THOSE FEW PROBLEMS IT WAS VERY SOLID AND I WAS CONTEMPLATING JUST LEAVING THIS ON FOR GOOD.

I just installed the Energy.HERMAN.23518.StandardM2.5_27.Jan.2010 and i am having one problem with the SMS. When I view all messages and then open a thread and slid out my keyboard the messages that I receive do not update, I have to close my keybord to receive the new text... then slide open my keyboard to respond... Also when texting I do not have a close button so have to close my keybord and then slide the messaging slider over to the "contact" for the "back" button to activate... otherwise within the sms screen all I get is "All Messages" and "Menu".

Any one else seeing this behavior with "Messages for Pocket PC v1.5 Build 2011.2130?

Im using build 23518
and its sense 2.1 with 6.5.

I'm going to switch! I am going try build 21xxx..

I had the same issues (black screen issues, random freezes, it never worked right for me). As your suggestion, I flash danced when I first installed Jan.27 21XXX 2.5, and experienced those issues. Just to double check (after a few days of the issues), I flash danced again. It didn't help at all, same issues kept happening. I just finally gave up and went back to a Dec. rom.
