...if only I could figure out which folder the file goes in ...I just put it in my windows folder using file explorer...the XDA post says to use total commander...would that matter?

Unzip it, you will need to be configured to see operating system files on your computer to see it.

Copy the exe to your phone's storage card.

Use total commander to copy it to the windows folder.

Then soft reset.

Seems to have cured it, no error when the phone booted back up.

I really like this ROM. I was running the December 17th ROM with sense 2.5 and the newest beta windows build, and I found it too slow...I think we need more processor to really enjoy sense 2.5, but I'm liking 2.1 with location weather on the home screen.

UPDATE!

Hi guys! Running EnergyROM_28014_HERMAN_21.Dec.2009_Standard. Couple of issues, have run a hard reset and they persist. Tried to search but did not find resolution. Sense 2.1 on this beast.

Persistant:

1. In Windows SMS messaging my texts are threaded, in the correct order. In Sense they look correct until I click on the message to see the thread and then I'm seeing messages from October as the most current message.

Solved (although issue 2, working on new mms messages, not ones previously received).

2. Also, I've run the remove picture mail and arcsoft cabs and I'm still not showing MMS messages I've received in the past. I know this was a 2.5 issue, but I'm running 2.1. Is this a newly identified issue?

3. I have the setsystimezone.exe error, I think the thread provides some workarounds so I will try those.

To see if it really cured, try updating your weather via My Location.
If it doesn't give you the error, I'll try the fix.

To be honest though, I'm flashing back to 28011.
My battery life is sucking again. 28011 is the best by far.

i like the rom overall n have been useing it for quite awhile. i recently flashed the new dec 21 28014 standard n now im having issues w/the ear piece being too quiet. is there anything i need to adjust so the volume is louder? i have it all the way up on the in call menu but it is still pretty weak. thanks for all the help n all the great roms u guys have created. its appreciated

I'm running 12/21 2.1 21185 standard. Very very nice. My only problem, which I created, is that in trying to change clocks on the home tab, I wiped out everything else on that tab. Can anyone point me in the direction I need to go to get back the appointments and call history that show up under the clock? Thanks!!

Having a strange problem that just popped up with the last couple of builds. Whenever I push the power button to wake my device, it brings up the My Info screen. If I go into the settings/personal/owner info section, there is no tab for turning this off. Currently running the 21885_Dec17_2.5Dusk ROM, same thing happened with the 28014_Dec17_2.5MaxManila. Anyone know if there is a reg key that can be edited to stop this from popping up?
