keyboard issues :/
 

hey guys ok im having a problem with my cdma (sprint) touch pro where the keyboard is kinda going out i think...:/ when i type it does this ( hey whats (pause) uuuuuppppppppppp) and sometimes it wont type at all then i do a soft reset and it works but does the thing listed above :/ please help and is there anything i can do to fix it cabs, rars, etc? thank you for your help

your keyboard is going out, either get a keyboard replaced or the whole phone, thats the only way, the pro is known for it. unfortunantly

yea but i get such ****ty ones always get a bad one n this was best one ive ever had so far until this i know its not software but instead it is hardware but i dont really want a new one :(

It's a simple fix (so i'm told) there are 3 cable ribbons under the keyboard, and the main one has come unplugged. If you can take it back to sprint that is the best possible solution, they know its a problem and 9/10 times they will swap out keyboards (or in my case) gave me a whole new phone. I know its a hassle but why void the warranty if you don't have to.

im scared mine is going out :s somtimes i noticed wwhats up but its just one letter. lets hope i dont have to get a new one for a long time. I noticed on xda that its mostly cdma phones that have this problem.

Just took my phone in for this today, they ordered a replacement, said it should be in tomorrow. I doubt that, but still I'm getting a new one so no complaints other than the hassle of reflashing radio, rom, and relocking.

just got my third TP because of this problem. I'll wait another 3 months for it to happen again and complain til they give me a TP2
