does anyone know if this new release has any more battery improvements? im using the last reborn release & my battery life is worse than the stock rom. ive installed all the battery hacks, turned location off, underclocked the cpu, etc. i get barely half a day of minimal use before it gives me low battery warnings. and my keyboard is toasting my thumbs as im typing this :(
im wondering if maybe i got a defective battery or something. |

Battery life is great. Batteries lose life after awhile as well.

I wouldn't do any battery tweaks or load programs that are supposed to help with battery. Mike is smart enough to know which ones are best and he's already tweaked the registry for everything involving the battery. how long have you had r3born on your phone. give it a few days of soft resets and full charges. if it doesn't pick up, i'd say it's the battery. r3born has great battery life. |

i got two batteries with my phone. Thing is i never charged it 100% the first time , only later on. You guys think that might affect battery performance? its decent but say I use gps for about an hour it plows through half the battery.

yeah, worse than stock. at least lately. for the first few days it was slightly improved but then it got really bad. ive had reborn for about a week. im gonna reflash & see how it goes, and if i see no improvements ill exchange the battery.
i use one of no2chem's apps to underclock, nueclockcontrol i believe. |
