nope that wasnt it. the little line is stil there and the typing is still getting messed up if I dont wait and pause between words. it only happens in Opera though.... maybe it is something with this Opera build....

ok, this only happens in Opera. if I just install a new cab for Opera will it replace the cooked one? I tried PIE and the typing works just fine. this is only Opera.

That's weird man can someone else see if this is a reoccuring bug?
I'm guessing you already did a hard reset?

Hmm try turning off word correction in settings>personal>input. Uncheck the boxes, this also speeds up typing

It was under his other one, a bar style one that said Demolition ROM addict or something similar. Guess he took it down :dontknow:

The Opera bug is verified, does the same thing to me and I tried a couple different pages. And I don't have a Settings>Personal option, just Start Page, Display, Privacy, & Advanced, and none mention word correction.

Not sure if it worked before, I will flash back shortly and let you know :)

Oops :) Changed it and still the same. Also, it does it with the onscreen keyboard as well.

It has to be that build of opera. Anyone want to install a different build and see if it works?

EDIT: Downloaded and installed Opera 9.7b and it does the same thing. After you type the first word and hit space a red underscore appears. It actually lets you type a little bit (before it didn't) but if you hit space again before the red line disappears or wait until the red line disappears anything you type after the first word gets erased.

Just noticed that the keyboard sometimes skips around, ie your trying to type opera and it comes oaper because the cursor jumps back a few spaces

Ok, I flashed again, Titanium weather doesn't have auto updates check, but you can't enable them this time! So something somewhere is preventing that particular setting from saving. And it is only that setting, I tried changing some others and they all stick.

If you could, let me know what to change to fix the "no application associated" error without running that cab, I'd rather have be stuck with auto updates off :) I am in msn if that is easier.

And I will test it as soon as I see an actual fix posted :lol:
