Juicy 6. Help?
Hey, sorry if this was brought up. But I posted it in the Juicy ROM thread and I think it was just lost in the midst of Juicy 7.
I'm running Juicy 6 and for some reason it's not downloading incoming MMS. Just gives me a "message detail" screen and never actually downloads the picture. when I first receive the message it gives me a warning about how the "active data session may be closed. Do you want to continue?" I click yes. and nothing happens. Help? It also reverts back to the original Ring-WindowsMobile, no matter how many times I set my own ringtone. Any advice? I'm not ready to go to Juicy 7 just yet. I'm sticking with WinMo 6.1 for little while longer. |
Re: Juicy 6. Help?
No one has a possible solution for this? I have the Alltel Arcsoft MMS. So I don't think it's that.

Re: Juicy 6. Help?
Why don't you try PM Juicy himself?
|
Re: Juicy 6. Help?
I did. Two days ago. No response. Figured I'd ask the general populace.

Re: Juicy 6. Help?
Still no one with an idea of how to fix this? I've been failing to get MMS for a couple weeks now.

MMS is prickly, and I can't test as no version of Arcsoft works on TELUS servers. Can someone with the same carrier (who is or has run Juicy 6) chime in here? |
Re: Juicy 6. Help?
Am not on that carrier but if you search on google for: mms settings for talltel you should find something
check this thread http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=19886 |
Re: Juicy 6. Help?
I'm fairly certain I have all the settings correct. It notifies me that I have MMS messages. But whenever I click "Download" it says "In order to send/download MM messages, the current active connection may be closed (this may affect other applications in use) Do you want to continue?"
And that's verbatum what it says. Even MM not MMS. I have no idea what that means. |
Re: Juicy 6. Help?
that happens on metropcs as well if you have more then one connection setup under you connections.
check your mms settings to see how the mms composer connect to the internet |

Re: Juicy 6. Help?

|
Re: Juicy 6. Help?
I went to Messaging. Clicked Menu. and it just gave me "Options" all i had there was the options for my messaging. Didnt find anything for "mms options".
|
Re: Juicy 6. Help?
nevermind. found it.
settings are: Server name: Alltel MMSC Gateway: mms.alltel.com Port number: 8080 Server address: http://mms.alltel.com/servlets/mms connect via: NETWORK send limit: MAX Everything looks correct. And that's the only MMS connection there is. Why does it give me that notification to download and when I click yes, it still does nothing. |
