Why Aint Sprint Touch Pro Gps Not Working???
 

no one is giving me real answers why my sprint touch pro gps isnt working i complained about this too much an im pretty sure i aint the only one on here with the same complaint...Can we get some serious solutions ???? or are we gonna go on with this like the fm radio cause yall guys are cooking roms but aint making sure apps work correctly im pretty sure yall are aware of this.....i used mostly every rom an i always check google maps to see if my gps is working an sadly im always disappointed that gps tool is only as good as taking up wasteless space amaze dont work sprint navigation i doubt it work also which i dont want to use how are we suppose to use lattitude if the gps isnt working????.....im using a sprint touch pro 21501 mighty mike radio 1.07 im in brooklyn new york....id searched every where for a solution so instead of worrying about new builds an tf3d2 an 6.5 worry about what we need to work on cause that touch pro 2 is gonna drop an this touch pro is gonna be consider an apache!!!

Try to revert back to an original shipping ROM and flash to the shipping radio. See if GPS works then. If it doesn't, something else may be wrong. I don't seem to be affected by this issue. If your GPS was working before, it should still function.

tried it already still no use after i flashed my phone the first time that was it no more gps....when yall guys build these roms are yall making sure that the original gps settings are capable to run in these newer builds...is there updated gps files specificly for the newer builds...cause im think yall guys are just using the old files if so thats like putting a toyota corolla engine in a ferrari...thats just what this phone is anyways...im thinking i should break my phone an get a new one an/or but then again i got my hands on a diamond an everything on that phone looks promising....i just gotta decide to get a refurbished touch pro or just switch phones........the fm radio is better then a laggy keyboard energy draining bulky dingle berry no?????

I agree. You said that you have tried it before and it didn't work, so I suggest flashing back to stock and relocking then take it into a service/repair center.

FYI dude- Every rom I've tried, the GPS works.

Here's one tip: When you go and use google maps, the gps isn't on BY DEFAULT. Its Google Map's setting. Go into the Menu and tell it to USE GPS.

You could also go and reinstall Sprint Navigator. Just do a search and you'll find its installer. Its not them, its you.

yo i aint a noob yall treating me like a elderly person with a terminal illness lol i know whats going MY GOOGLE MAPS DONT WORK AT ALLL!!! only time i seen a gps lock was when i first got the phone even at then i had to run sprint nav...then run google maps an even at then i had 3 locks....i need a real solution!

that would be the last thing i want to do...but what they gonna tell me...i called sprint told them that an long story short they was like i gotta pay more money for the full gps...i ignored that cause they never know what they talking about...i would have to go to japan an give my phone to yokohomo an let him look at it...but that aint a bad suggestion could you tell me why it aint working in the first place? ? ? ?](*,)](*,)](*,)](*,)](*,)

Which ROM are you running?

Which version of Google Maps are you using?

Have you tried QuickGPS to kickstart?

quick gps is a joke that htc tool is also...im using the newest google maps i ran every rom that these guys posted 6.1 6.5 from build 199....to build 215.... yo im so mad you said quick gps lol cause its useless i need my gps to work like how i click on file explore you feel me....
