Re: What are Rhodium / Titanium / Manilla / etc etc ?

I believe that manilla is more the name for the touch flo interface.

Rhodium, TF3D, TF2D are flavors of manilla...
kinda like saying manilla = windows (except manilla is a gui that hides WM)
Rhodium manilla = Vista
TF3D manilla = XP
TF2D manilla = 98

Different HTC phones put different versions of manilla on it (to cover Windows Mobile) that are customized for that specific hardware. So the new phones code named 'Rhodium' & 'Topaz' will have different versions of manilla except we 'geekz dont always differentiate between phone (rhodium = Touch pro 2) and its associated graphical user interface (manilla) that is used to hide the operating system (WM 6.1 or 6.5). I think Microsoft knows WM operating system is ugly, so now they are shipping phones with Titanium gui to cover it up...though HTC may keep adding versions of manilla that would be used instead of Titanium.

I hope that helps
