I'm seeing references everywhere, but the thread isn't accessible any longer. I'm told I need directions it contains. My TP has voice, but no data and VZW can't figure out why.

What gives???

I requested i to be moved
simple as that. The hole was plugged, and if your data isn't working request a DMU reset...unless zvw did that already
check your dmu keys too

I have asked for a DMU reset. The DMU keys are the AH and PPP keys in the "Security" page of EPST? If so, I've tried moving my line back to my Vogue, confirming data, copying the keys, switching back to my TP and pasting the keys. That gives me a more immediate "bad username and password" error where I don't get an actual connection error when they're blank. The apps just eventually timeout when the phone continuously tries to connect.

Has that thread been moved somewhere I can get to it?

Do you have any further advise on the issue?

Last sunday my sprint tp on vzw hard reseted and it cleared my MSL back to sprint's msl. I lost all the changes I made in EPST and QPST. Anyway did you try reloading the 10 key? w/ QPST before you requested a dmu reset? Also I think you can find the steps on ppchaven or smartphonejunkie. I forgot where, use google.

How do I apply the 10key? I have the file, I know my way around QPST a fair bit by now, I just don't where to apply/upload that file to.

As far as searching goes, without more specific guidelines, searching will do me no more good. I've searched for a week and a half now. 90% of what I've done is was common sense to me. Getting help with having the MEID put into the MDM was the biggest step, and I HAD to get help from inside VZW for that.

If I had to guess, I've done all the right steps, just not in the right order, or not enough times. If I've missed a step or setting, I just couldn't know and that's why I'm looking for the contents of the thread I mentioned. I've been told MANY times, that it contains the proper (and well documented) steps I need.

go into qpst and hit efs explorer and load your dmu keys...simple as that

On my Vogue I found the DMU\10.key file so I'm going to try it. I also found 00004 in ERI.

On my TP though, both folders are empty. Fine where the DMU\10.key file is concerned, but what about ERI? I missing something critical here? Should I try the ERI from my Vogue (my guess is no) and if not, where should I get this file?

I seem to have lost data after a hard reset too (everything went back to Alltel). Have yet to request a DMU reset but just wondering if something might have happened on Verizons side...

It worked!

I coppied ERI/00004 from my Vogue to my TP using QPST.
I coppied DMU/10.key the same way.
Did a soft reset and 3G data works great now.

Are ERI's unique the the phone/number? If not, would you mind sharing? Also, where exactly did you find the 10.key file?

I used QPST (App for the PC which requires the phone to be put in DIAG mode via ##3424# or ##3424 Send depending on your dialer), then the EFS {Browser I think} tool to get to that file system (E... File System) and there were the ERI and DUN folders.

I don't have ready access to my 10.key ATM, but I did find another post in one of the "Sprint TP on VZW" type threads here. I don't know how to share the PRI. You can get the VZW PRI (1.46_002 for the TP) also in one of these threads. You get it as a PPST*.cab which installs the PRI.

I will be doing a detailed write-up on my process here in the next few days. I'll edit my 1st post.

Got the 10.key extracted from my Blackberry Curve so just in need of the ERI (although it's not that big of an issue, I have a hacked up PRL and used QPST to chance the banner to say Skynet instead of Preferred Roaming).

Ok unique situation, I have a Sprint touch pro and my data connection wasnt working so I decided to try and use a verizon PPST and now it still dosent work and now it has my phone set to verizon. PLEASE someone tell me how to set it back to sprint , i have already hard reset and no luck.
