Attention all wm 6.5 chefs- Phone dialer problem
 

I have a sprint touch pro

every wm 6.5 rom seems to have problem with phone dialer

once sync with contacts phone dialer can not scroll

i have tried every dialer does not help ???

I would like to see a simple black dialer with ICR that can scroll'

scrolling highlighs all contact and blurs text so you cant read it.

can some one help fix???

infact there are several roms without this problem ..try phantomROM

Hmmm,

I have tried all the 6.5 roms they all have this problem, that is why i posted

i have no problem with 6.1 roms, this is on a CDMA sprint touch pro.

its not in the contact area, it is in the phone dialer area when you try

to scroll recent numbers and contacts it scrolls for about 10 numbers

then it hightslighs all numbers as you are scrolling and then scrambles

the names so you can read them. if you back you you can sen invidual

names. you should be able to scroll up and down in phone dialer, not in

contact area, but the contact area loses the lines seperating the names.

i would just like to see a simple black dialer with ICR that can scroll ???

i have the same problem with my dialer. but i noticed that when all of the numbers highlight the number at the bottom is still clear. so when you scroll down you just have to go slow and look at the bottom number the hole time

Bump, Bump, and Bump!

I think the HTC Dialer Skin was/is not compatible with the kinetic scrolling style of WinMO 6.5. I also noticed this in a few other apps, i.e. PHM Reg Editor you are unable to scroll on the top screen without using the scrollbars.

in the recent releases of winmo 6.5 something has changed or a new bug was created that causes the HTC Dialer to blur when using the dpad to scroll down the contacts or to flick scroll causes blurring to I personally do not use the HTC dialer but I am well aware of this issue .... you should post this bug in you chefs thread so that they can try to work on it ... I have been trying to fix it myself but not having any luck

This is a well known issue with 6.5. 6.5 has many issues with alot of HTC software as HTC software has no awarness of the new features in 6.5. The two largest are the above and then an issue with diamond/tp keyboard with contact xT9 & contact entry. Another not so big is bluring of contacts/file explorer fields. Tho this seems to be more of a 6.5 cache issue.
