i see you still didnt update the first post with WM6.5 219xx build? Lots of peeps(including me) look at first post for newest builds instead of searching a whole thread:)

Now for the release - running it for the last 3 days and here are my initial imressions:
1) AwEsOme
2) read #1
3) The problem with slow loading sms screen is gone!(i have over 4k sms stored and 21502 build(your version 16) was struggling each time i would open main sms screen or slide out/in keyboard, took over 1 min:(. With this build - 2 secs(although very first time after restoring with PIM it took over 20mins to open and load all messages)
4) Works perfect with S2U2 version 2.4, previous build was buggy for example would show corrupted screen with incoming call and s2u2 enabled - not anymore!
5) Restoring mobile shell setting finally works(not sure why but on previous build it would fail to restore) - giant time saver
6) screen rotation is uber fast when sliding keyboard - much improved over previous
7) overall very fast and responsive!!!

Only problem i have found is opening biggish word files takes forever - for example to open 90kb file(yes thats kb not mb) takes over a 3 mins. The file is stored on my 16gb storage card but its class6 card(min 6mb/sec transfer rating) Any clue on what the problem here is? I literally have to split all my word files in pieces to open them now without loosing all my hair:(

Will continue testing and report back - but so far
THIS IS THE BEST ROM I HAVE EVER TRIED!!! (not to mention the only one remaining with Mobile Shell3 instead of TF3D crap)

Just wanted to thank you for making such an incredible ROM. I can't stand touchflo and I've been using SPB mobile shell since I got my TouchPro a year ago. This just adds heaps of icing to the cake!

I've verified the link, wanna test it again? I'll test opening a big word file today, I think I need to create one first. But glad your liking it!

Good you all are diggin my stuff! It's maybee time to break it again and add some more too it. :) How am I doing on the functionality of all the programs? You Tube, FaceBook, etc?

And a note on my sprintnerd's Rhodium rom...lol... I've apparently deleted a few of the components that make it my rom. I'll track those down and refresh on sunday hopefully. Sorry for the delays.

I've been using this for only one day but here are my nitpicks so far:

1) Texting - when in another program and a 'text message received' notification comes up, I click 'reply' and the cursor isn't in the reply box. I don't know if this is a general WM6.5 issue because I'm fairly new to the custom rom world.

2) Facebook isn't included in rom, would like to see that come included in future builds.

3) I'd like to see the game pack that is included to be attached or linked as a separate install bundle. I don't really play any of these games and would like the option to remove them.

It's hard coming up with anything to quibble over, you've done a fantastic job. I love the increased functionality of my phone now, many thanks and looking forward to future versions!

1) If you find a solution, let me know. I hadn't noticed that before...I'm an old fart and don't text much. :)

2) Included in next release, "Facebook 1.0.0.7p"...

3) Those are sorta like my signature. I don't play them much anymore, but occassionally I need to kill 30 minutes on a conference call, and they come in handy. They have all been optimized to take up the least amount of memory and the touch pro has it.

It's good to hear feedback like that! While this is my personal rom, I am always willing to tweak on it just a little bit. I may be looking to change it up a bit, I haven't decided yet...

Hey RSTG, figured I post a comment here since I became a VIP in your Diamond thread and will hit 1K in thanks given!! Going old school RSTG Irish mafia style. :) now regarding the questions

1. I think your right it's a 6.5 thing, tf2.1 texting is so much better.
2. I always install facebook 1.0.0.7 to internal storage/storage card for tpro after the fact and it works flawlessly plus doesn't take up device memory.
3. here the link for the mega game pack so maybe you can link this post and people can add via internal storage but like you said it's your personal rom. now...beep.....play "icbm"! http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...mega+game+pack

I'm not on that bus, a radio is usually a radio to me. I'm currently on 1.03.15F. The PRL however does make a deal, and I'm on 60652...

Is there a better alternative stand-alone program to solve the 6.5 woes?
Or can the TF SMS/MMS/Email module be installed separately and linked to the SPB shell?

Re: .-. RSTG Roms - Spb MobileShell Raph v3.MS31.28 WM6.1 & WM6.5 .-. 8/4/09

There is a very annoying bug that i didnt not find solution to as of yet in your 6.5 build. While on the call the screen keeps shutting of, does not look like its a proximity sensor issue since even if its set to speaker phone and just sits on the table- it still shuts off, if you turn it back on it with power button it shuts off again in few secs again. Makes it very hard to impossible to be on the phone and check your calendar at the same time for example. Any known fix for this?
