I just did the clear storage method. It worked o.k. Now I just have to sync and see if it works.

Reflashed with a new download of the ROM. Did clear storage after flashing. Added .Net 3.5 (One of the programs I added last time said I needed to update this). Then synced.

Still had the same error. All notes on my TP still showed boxes. No letters or numbers. This is a one way error. A note created on my TP syncs fine to the computer. But any note edited on my computer will then show up as boxes in place of letters or numbers in the note. The name stays fine - translates fine either way. Just the contents of the note is the problem.

This is for the latest 6.1 release. I might have to go back, but I think I remember looking at one note that was edited and I believe that it had this error, but I am not sure.

In conclusion, I think that this might be a possible ROM bug.

I see that .Net is 3.5, but one of my programs said it needed to upgrade.

Otherwise, I love this ROM. I think the SPB shell is superior to the Touch Flo.

I just flashed the latest 6.5 to test it and it works fine. The Notes are normal.

Just giving you an update on using the RSTG Roms - Spb MobileShell Raph vG53.MS31.16 WM6.5 5/17/09 is working great. I have only had a one small issue so far. Sometimes when I go to update like the weather it will say no connection to the internet. It pop's up the window to select the network and I just click ok.I then go and start the internet explorer and then click the weather update and works fine.

Seems to do this when I shut off the phone. Once I select the internet it does'nt do this again until I shut off the phone again. I have been gone for the last week 1/2 and was out of town and my phone worked gr8 on this new rom. Even thou this rom was built for sprint it seems to be working gr8 on my Alltel.

Seeing there is not a lot of good rom's for Alltel or I have not found them as of yet. I have heard that conflipper is good have not tried it as of yet. Seeing your rom is working good. Being an addict I will probably flash some this weekend then end up back to your rom lol!

Hey,

I just noticed this... I had been assuming that the sdconfig file would be on external storage... doesn't internal storage get deleted during the flash process? Do we know if capitalization matter for the file name?

Cut-n-Paste from my diamond rom thread....
For the touch pro it should read "\storage card\sdconfig.txt" :) And capitalization shouldn't matter.

Thanks for the clarification... it is still not working on my external card, so I wonder what's going on. As soon as I have access to a windows computer, I'll try playing around with the kitchens. (but I'll probably post my cleaned up xml files on the other thread and see what's going on).

I get two BT icons when mine is connected, but it doesn't affect how it works, so I didn't see problem

same here--no probs with connection...just have 2 icons
