I'm still not seeing the lag in composing text messages... maybe I type too slow, lol!

Could it be caused another installed program?

First of love the 1.09 everything is running smooth other then some of the things mentioned here minor things so far. This is a gem of a rom and I finally figured what was causing my issues with loading application. It was due to sktools! Bummer! When I removed it and took many flashes loading one application at a time and found soon as I loaded it no other appliations would load. It worked fine once it was loaded but would get the installation unsuccessful error. So all it good.

Question, I loaded my wisbar advanced and it bloew away my icons on my taskbar. I don't like it and seeing the tsowentaskbar3v1.4 is burned into the rom. Would I just have to remove the wisbar to get the icons back> I have not tried and will when I get off work later this morning. I was just wondering and hate to mess anything up seeing everything is working so good right now. I don't have any worries about flashingb anymore, comes second hand now! lol! Kind of addicting. I need my phone this weekend and don't want to hose it up.

I did it once yesterday, but I turned off that buggy xt9 and it went away. Yes it could. There are several buggy programs out that could easily cause any rom to act weird...

I would flash, but you could just install the .cab...

I know it's so addicting flashing!! I was able to load the Bar right back thanks for your help! Still working like a charm.....

RSTG, great ROM and works super... but I would agree w prev post and haven't seen much else mentioned on it (waiting for a fix post) but I too experience the frozen carousel about 1/2 the time I play with it. No extras added yet to phone, just the ROM flash. I access the carousel and it freezes for apx 1-4 seconds then madly spins. Swipping the screen at times behaves like you didn't touch it, then few seconds later it spins. I've reflashed once to test and I reloaded the SPB shell to test. Only change was that I made the page pool 24 meg... would that effect it? Thanks for a Great ROM!

So far no lag but even before it would go away for a few and then come back worse than ever - still testing... (Update - lag is back didnt work for me at least)


RSTG the ROM still does not give you any options when connected to the comp(like activesync, drive, etc..) i thought you said this was done? Because of that it always connects in activesync mode and TOtalComander(on PC) cannot access it now...

i am thinking maybe i should approach it from a different way - by installing a 3rd party texting app, can anyone reccomend a good one?
Does this ROM have SprintPicture cab cooked in?

I am lag free on my keyboard now.



File Explorer, Device\Windows\StartUp\ Delete or move Vistahide battery from that folder.

Note: You will no longer have the battery meter on top of your screen. I do not lag anymore after resetting my phone =).

Now that's what we like, SOLUTIONS! That volume control and vista will be taken out. I'm still working on the rom base, getting all the enhanced menu's working. So sunday for the next release most likely

installed the arksoft MMS program(should really cook it in the rom - makes sending picture messages whole lot easier than with regular sprint picture mes and can see pictures right away on the phone without having to click the link like on reg sprint.). Lag seems to be fixed but still testing as i mentioned before it comes back sporadicly for some reason.
