Rom Question
Ok I have googled for a bit now and am not really making any progress so i figure ill post... amd maybe at least someone can at least point me in the right direction.....
So I love Mightyrom but would like a few features as possible from other rom's ( Slide sounds from silence rom, Landscape tf3d Mode thing? from Psyki ROm and some other things ) Can I just edit or alter the Mighty rom and "Cook" what i want into it for my own use and maybe insert specific things ( My contacts) and so on to make a more personalized rom.... also could I take specific elements out of silence rom (Slidesounds) for example... and get the cab that installed them for install on mighty rom? Thanks in advance for any help |
Re: Rom Question
There are cabs available to add these feature to Mighty's Rom.
Here is the one for installing the manila that psyki uses. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=493531 Here are the sliding sounds (not sure which one silence uses exactly but a bunch to choose from) http://ppcgeeks.com/forum.ppcgeeks/s...sliding+sounds |
Re: Rom Question
if you read up a little on how to use a kitchen, most of this stuff can be put into the oem folder and will be cooked in for you....or if you wanna do it the easy way, just install the cab
also sashimi might be a way to go, if you dont wanna go as "extreme" as a kitchen, but want a little more customization than just installing a cab |

Re: Rom Question
Not sure if the sliding sound Silence uses is in that post I gave you earlier, but this is the exact one he uses, so I'm sure it's in this one. http://www.nuerom.com/BlogEngine/page/nueSlidingKB.aspx
