Rom Question

Ok I have googled for a bit now and am not really making any progress so i figure ill post... amd maybe at least someone can at least point me in the right direction.....

So I love Mightyrom but would like a few features as possible from other rom's

( Slide sounds from silence rom, Landscape tf3d Mode thing? from Psyki ROm and some other things ) Can I just edit or alter the Mighty rom and "Cook" what i want into it for my own use and maybe insert specific things ( My contacts) and so on to make a more personalized rom.... also could I take specific elements out of silence rom (Slidesounds) for example... and get the cab that installed them for install on mighty rom?

Thanks in advance for any help

Re: Rom Question

There are cabs available to add these feature to Mighty's Rom.
Here is the one for installing the manila that psyki uses.

Here are the sliding sounds (not sure which one silence uses exactly but a bunch to choose from)

Re: Rom Question

if you read up a little on how to use a kitchen, most of this stuff can be put into the oem folder and will be cooked in for you....or if you wanna do it the easy way, just install the cab

also sashimi might be a way to go, if you dont wanna go as "extreme" as a kitchen, but want a little more customization than just installing a cab

He seems to like Might ROM, might as well just add the CABs to the ROM he likes. Less hassle overall.

Not sure if the sliding sound Silence uses is in that post I gave you earlier, but this is the exact one he uses, so I'm sure it's in this one. http://www.nuerom.com/BlogEngine/page/nueSlidingKB.aspx

Thanks Piranah I wish I could find all the cabs I need for the different stuff
I Want the manilla settings tab and enchancements from psyki I'm having a hard time figuring out what i needto get all this and what accomplishes it...
Also check your pm's I just found my Tv out adapter module and am just waiting on your addy to send out

If anyone is willing to help me Out any further in tracking up some of this app list... I just recieved my 5th pouch pro from assurion today and have a chunk of accessories i made be willing to part with

as well as a franken phone that was made from some customers broken phones (BAD ESN... CRICKET?) that I would trade for an extended battery or a method of charging a battery outside of the unit itself and an extra non aftermarket battery or something else interestingly nerdy enough...

also sashimi might be a way to go, if you dont wanna go as "extreme" as a kitchen, but want a little more customization than just installing a cab

Nah it would be a kitchen or cab thing for me .... thanks for the thought though

ok...i just tried it out myself. I installed the 2 cabs and same problem as you. Then i went to my other post above and installed the HTCslidingsound.cab and that fixed it. Then you can follow the directions on the nuerom site to uninstall the htc sliding sounds control panel. I like the Mechanical sound. Pretty cool. lol
