I need GPS Help Please. (WM6.5 VZW)
 

I have searched the forum and have tried to look through the haystack to find the needle. I figured I would just ask and hope to get a faster response.

I first have service with VZW and second have recently flashed to the phantom WM 6.5 ROM. I am over all pretty happy with it, the only problem I have is every now and then I will have to take out the battery on a soft reset to get it unstuck from the boot splash screen. Other than that totally happy!

I do however still want to get the GPS working on the device. Can some one please give me some direction other than search I've tried that and like i said TMI is out there for me to be able to nail what I need to do down.

I have tried this... I couldn't get it to work. I don't know if it has to do with the fact that I no longer have 6.1 on my phone.

It works great on my VZW 6.5 (Copper). I did have to apply it twice though. So after you do it once, just reinstall the CAB again, and then do the PPST again, and then *228 again.

Some people have had to do it up to 4 times.

Make sure you follow the directions to a T..If it still doesnt work after that, you did something wrong hehe..
