HELPPP!!! i dont know whats wrong!
 

i flashed ssk 1.7 WM 6.5 build 21202 and i cant get dialer to show up and my contacts. And the home screen wont pop up with the cool interface. also it says i have no service.

you should do a hard reset after you flash a rom EVERY TIME. Try this, and if your still having problems let me know and ill look into it

some what i still cant get the touch friendly home screen to come up. never mind i just soft reset again and when it started up i still cant get home screen and i have no service now.

what are you refering to? touch flo 3d?
try going to start>settings>today and check touch flo 3d box then hit ok
if there is no option for touchflo 3d you probably didnt include it in your rom if you made it with his kitchen

no sorry. it was hard to explain the default one that comes with WM 6.5 not touch flo. and i think when i try to replace the pim with one that i backed up from my old phone it does not let me get into contacts and does not give me any service. and i just found out that it also disables the WM 6.5 tosay screen. WOW! how can i make the pim file from pre 1.7?

what program do you use to backup your pim data?
oh well just check the 6.5 today thing i cant remember what its called but it should be first on the list!

i dident use anything i just copied the pim file onto my comp and sd card.

Be careful what you restore when switching ROM's , backups can wreak all kinds of havok when crossing ROMs.
