Making the Touch Pro work on US CELLULAR?
 

I've confirmed that USCC is "testing" the Touch Pro and will make it available when they are done testing. WHat I'm hoping to do is get one from Sprint or Verizon and program it for USCC and THEN contact them asking them to put the ESN in their system (ie just ask them to activate the phone). I know that could be the hardest part.. but I need help getting the phone READY for USCC. I currently have a TITAN (PPC6800) and figure I can get the info off of that to program the Touch Pro, even if I have to do it manually. problem is.. I don't know what info I need. I'm currently running Nuerom 3. Any help would be appreciated. I've been reading pages and searching many different keywords on here and google trying to figure this out for about two days now. :???:

I'm pretty sure there is already a rom dump for the uscc model.
Why not just buy a new PRO from them all stores should have stock by now? My store recieved them last week.

I have a Touch Pro I got from Telesales at USCC. I ordered it 2 days ago. It's cheap (300 for renewal 320 for new) and then a 70$ rebate brings it down to a nicer 230 or 250. I've no regrets.

They require you to bring in the phone if the ESN is not in the system. It will be extremely obvious if the phone isn't a US Cellular model (especially since the USCC model lacks a logo on the upper right and has a logo on the battery door near the 3.2 Megapixel emboss). They are instructed not to activate any off-network phones and it is rare for the ESN or MEID to not be in the system.

Tried a Sprint Touch pro, flashed the official US Cellular rom on it, it still used the Sprint provided MSL (USCC one didn't work) except you press TALK at the end instead of #. Everything was changed properly but the phone would not registed on their network :(
