Is there anything I can do to make the orientation switch faster?

well are using a custom rom? because the stock rom is too slow
i would suggest you flash a custom rom asap! because this speeds up EVERY aspect of the phone

Yeah i've been trying everything. Copper 6.5, mightyrom, silence, juicy, and SSK, but SSK you cant do landscape tf3d. Idk. its just not as instant as other phones like the glyde, or the rumor or rant.

increase the GLYPHCACHE. Advanced Config will make it real easy for you.

Ok. right now im trying out different page pools. im at mightyROM 4.16 at PP6, and its working outstandingly and now im trying 4.

i wouldnt go below 6 that is what is the recommended page pool and it still seems low!

you should definately check out lllboredlll's roms and kitchen
on ssk just select rhodium manila not HD manila and you will have landscape mode! that looks just like portrait

BTW i always run my pagepool at 10-12 donno if it makes any difference though

I ended up not doing 4. 6 is awesome. not doing anything till mightyrom 5 comes out.

agreed dont go that low dude, you have to find a good balance between free memory and speed.
