tf3d2 and start menu
How well does the tf3d2 work with this rom? (65% dl for me right now) Would you recomend not using it for now?
Is the Start Menu issue still present? (clicking x on the start menu without selecting anything disables the start menu until soft reset) |

I get an error with the themes as well. It is stating that the file already exists.

1. Click Start - Start menu opens 2. Click X - Start menu closes 3. Click Start - nothing happens 4. Click Start - nothing happens 5. Click Start - nothing happens 6. .. etc. 7. Reboot. 8. Click Start - start menu opens 9. etc. It's consistent for me. But since you have not noticed this issue it probably has to do with a conflict with what I am installing. My money's on tf3d2 from xboxmod from xda, maybe, not sure. I am using your latest kitchen now - flashing in about 30 seconds - I chose almost everything in your kitchen - I'll test this first thing and let you know. Not sure if I want to install tf3d2 again. I think xboxmod is working on a newer version so maybe i'll wait. I just really love the tf3d and hate the regular tf3d landscape that only has 8 buttons. It seems silly to have such cool features in portrait mode and have all of it go away in landscape. |
Re: JD's G52x ROMs and Simple Axe Kitchen
OK - Start Menu Issue is not there right now (yes!!) - I will installl 1 thing at a time - rebooting between each one, and retesting.
If I come across the app that causes this I will post the culprit. If I don't come across this, I will go to sleep very happy. I'll probably post my reply tomorrow on my lunch break. Thanks for everything you do. I noticed the setup was a lot faster vs the last 2 flashes. before this flash, the crosshair screen align this was real sketchy, meaning the crosshair movement was jumpy and slow and not smooth and fast like it was this time. I have always done the setup, let config run and reset, the battery removal for at least 30 seconds and hard reset and this was still consistent. |
Re: JD's G52x ROMs and Simple Axe Kitchen
I've been using JD's roms for a while they are so solid state of the art kickers. They are just getting better and better thanks so much...
Now a couple of questions for the new kitchen, 1)Is this Kitchen build different then the 1 you uploaded yesterday in this link http://www.sendspace.com/file/rtmmeo cause I see you replaced it. 2) What happened to the last tab in phone settings, the 1 where i can enable vibrate on call connect? Is there a way to add it back? 3) In kitchen whats the difference between the 3 config files which 1 should i select. and under HTC I see "endkey" what is that? 4)For voice recording you left out the HTC recording app that lets you select format and location. It would be very nice if you can add that to kitchen. 5) In Kitchen there's no option to add Picture mail. Would be nice as well to add it. 6) Is it possible to have any dialer added to this kitchen other then the default 1, we already know that the 1 from htc causes problems when phone is locked. But the default dial pad is terrible. |
Re: JD's G52x ROMs and Simple Axe Kitchen
Use Sprint Arcsoft MMS 5.0.82.79.cab instead.
Works great, and I like it better than sprint stock. You can DL it here. http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=61802 Install it, reset, and try to send few pics to yourself to make sure it works. It sometimes takes awhile to recieve though. |
