Getting MMS to work with Arcsoft. Can't find where to change settings. *RESOLVED*
 

I'm using MightROM 4.16. I've been trying different ways to get MMS working again since the ROM doens't come with it. I install ArcSoft 5.0.xx.xx and I could install dcd carrier Alltel and make it all work, but dcd carrier also messes up the battery meter, replacing it with a generic icon that is like half battery / half plug, and it stays like that. So I have no way of see the battery life without going into the settings. So I would like to avoid using the dcd Alltel Carrier 20080723 file that I have.

At the same time though, I can't find where to edit the MMS settings in the ArcSoft software. I also see conflicting reports all over the internet of what exactly to set everything to if I could even find the settings.

Can anyone give some explanation to this?

on my TP w/ MIghtyRom 4.16 and arcsoft installed, if I go to messaging, hit right soft menu, there is an entry called Pics/Video options in the menu..does yours have this?

No, the only option mine has is "New", for creating a new text message. What version of Arcsoft are you using?

Nevermind I'm an idiot. Found it now XD I'll see if I can change the settings and make it work. I see lots of suggestions so I'm not sure which ones will do it but I'll figure that out.

Alright, I got it all working, I used broken041's settings suggestions as listed on the link:

I now have MMS working without using the DDS carrier that was messing up the battery icon. Difference was I dont have the WAP options in my settings. And my max file size setting only has "MAX" available. But it still all works so I'm happy. Thanks rviccaro!

I just got back in, glad to see you got it working.

for the record, I am using Caulkins Arcsoft Verizon 5.0.69.44
