Re: Copper v.0.0.0.1 [6.5.21500 Build 21500] [16MBPP] [UC Compatible]

Hello everyone.. simple question I hope.

Can I patch to 160 character sms? I'm on Alltel/Verizon and I noticed since Mighty is on Telus (I think) it defaults to 130. Is there a way to fix that to 160?
Thanks!

If you click the files link on this thread you can you can find a file called SMS160.cab .. Thanks for the help lol

Wow, either way, thats just a few more days before MR5.
I hope all keeps going well Mike so there won't be any set-backs.

The way I see it, the more time we wait, the less work and stress for everyone else when it gets released.

I can't wait, cause I am enjoying copper more and more.....

correct, but the general consensus has been that the telus 1.04 radio works better plus as he already stated he was having problems, soooo being that radio 1.04 typically has been working better, why wouldn't i point him in that direction. I posted the thread ( you probably already know where it is) if you read the thread fully, or even the last 2 or 3 pages, you'll see telus 1.04 works better for MOST people, but of course not all.

why are alot of people wating for mr5? if this is the bare rom he is going to work off of, is it the fact that people would rather not have to make the tweaks and install programs themselves and have mighty do it or is there another reason? or is he changing the rom around a little? this is a serious questions, i'm not talking s***

Yes Copper was created for that main purpose of building around it.
Technically we can all "try" to tweak it, but such a new ROM and build, its been somewhat entertaining to say the least.

Also if you are not familiar with MightMikes ROMS, they are outstanding.
Why wouldn't you want to try out MR5. It can only mean a better version of Copper. Built by a true Chef.... MightyMikes ROMs just keep getting better...

I think ill be sticking with this copper rom for a while. I like the fact that its clean without bloat (manilla) Admittedly, i dont flash alot of roms, this being my 2nd ever, and i have no idea how to build a rom using a kitchen. So, for me personally, this rom has been lightning fast, great on memory/battery, and extremely stable. Im keepin' it :) unless there's another clean 6.5 rom without manilla floating around somewhere? The menus and a few other differences took a little getting used to, but i cant see going back to 6.1 anytime, ever :) love this rom!!! Only thing i wish worked are the dialing codes ##degug# ##778# etc...

i agree, imore then likely wont be flashing a new rom also as actually this is my first rom that i stuck with for more 5 minutes. the only thing making me change is the rhodium menu enhancements. other then that im good. you do know the black s2a works with ## codes im assuming.
