File/DB format & application compatibility between WM 6.1 & 6.5

I want to pull the trigger on one of the 6.5 ROMs, but would like to retain my contacts, email accounts, and so on. There are also many applications I currently run, including today plug-ins (no TF3D for me) that I would like to retain.

Questions:

1) Are the databases for SMS, email, contacts, etc. the same between 6.1 and 6.5? Would I be able to simply restore those files using Sprite with backups I made from 6.1 to 6.5?

2) Is there still a facility for Today plug ins as well as the taskbar (on the bottom of the Today screen)?

3) Do most recent applications work okay with 6.5, such as Resco's, Spb Software, and so on?

Anything else I need to be aware before making the jump?

Thanks very much.

to all of your questions the answer is YES, same messaging base just nicer paintjob overall, and some speed improvements including battery improvements, all of you current apps should work no problem on wm6.5
