Im using a 6.5 rom, whats wrong with my startmenu?

Im using the star 6.5 rom, and i want my start menu to look like this

ive installed the cab from xda found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=481379

but it doesnt work, how can i get that type of menu?

Are you referring to the icons in the start menu being highlighted by the honeycomb shape, the start menu being in that format rather than the 6.1 style, or the color change?
