When you take the phone to MetroPCS, they will transfer the ESN for you, so you don't have to worry about that. The main thing to remember is NOT to do anything to the phone (unlock it, flash a custom rom, etc) before you have it flashed. I just had my sprint htc touch pro flashed to metropcs yesterday, after which I installed the latest version of Mighty Mike's ROM, ver 4.16. It works like a charm. You can also try version 5 of Juicy's ROM. I also read where someone was using Juggalo's ROM with MetroPCS.

thanks for the respond mike but i check metro pcs website and there is no metropcs flash in nyc, my dad also try to had one of his old sprint sanyo phone transfer over to them and the local metro pcs over here told him they cant do that. so i doubt i will have luck with that or i would of done it already and save myself the headache.

Once you have the phone flashed to MetroPCS it shouldn't matter what ROM you use. For what it is worth though I have a Sprint TP on MetroPCS with an older version of KK's Rom.

MetroFLASH isn't offered in the New York area because that market is using AWS instead of CDMA.
